    My Trip Report

I am finally totally booked!!! And now I'm ready to go! Everything has worked out so incredibly well in the past few weeks - almost like there's a force that wants me in Vegas!! LOL!! I know it sounds hokey, but, I can feel a big win coming on this one!

Flying out in AirTran - WPB - LAS - $220 RT.

Using Alamo - $136 with tax included - I'm gettting the insurance too, so it will be $276 total price for a week.

Anyway - I'm staying in a couple places that I've never stayed - just for something different -

11/4-11/5 - Railroad Pass on Boulder Highway - $39 for one night.

    11/5-11/9 - Colorado Belle in Laughlin - $128 for 4 nights (splitting w/ my friend - $64).

    11/9-11/11 - Binion's - $27 for two nights (splitting w/ my friend - $13.50).

I'm already feeling like I'm winning!!!

Now, the agonizing waiting game continues....:grrr:

If you have full coverage insurance on your vehicle most Insurance Companies will cover your rental car as well...I originally asked for insurance for my rental car and then "what the Hell, I'll call my insurance and see if I am covered", sure enough they assured me that I did not need to purchase insurance from the rental company. Just a FYI...anyways, Good luck and have a fun and safe trip.

My car insurance says it is covered for a rental car but I always worry that if something did happen and my insurance paid, how much would they go up for the rest of my life? We did have a wreck one time in an Avis car but had the insurance and there was no problem.

If you use a credit card don't you often have coverage with that? Maybe check that out.

Last April - I did check that out - and the rep did tell me that it was covered. But when I checked the coverage, it looked like it was only a supplemental. I went without the car rental insurance - just relying on the credit card insurance, but always had it in the back of my mind that I don't think I'm fully covered with that....this time, I'd like a little peace of mind.
