    My Trip Report

Trip Report - Monday June 9 through Friday June 13
    Paris Las Vegas

This was our 12th trip to Las Vegas since June of 2001. We usually stay 5-8 days. This time we stayed 4 nights. At the end of the trip we were ready for more but we had responsibilities back home which needed our attention.

This will be a long detailed report. My reports are supported by notes I scribble each day at some point. Starting with a short categorized version, I’ll follow with a more detailed account of each day.

Transportation: Allegiant Air MFE-LAS-MFE was booked back in February. I managed to hit allegiantair.com when flights to and from were $59 on the days we were considering, The fare for the two of us totaled $313.00 after the taxes, fees and the nickel and dime stuff Allegiant tacks on to their fares. Still, this was the least expensive fare we have paid for travel to Vegas.

I rented a car form Thrifty @ $24.23 a day. The $142.00 total for 4 days after all the taxes and fees seemed reasonable for a Wild Car - meaning they can give you anything Full Size and up. We were directed to our choice of either a Pacifica or a Sebring convertible. I headed for the Pacifica, but my wife suggested we take the Sebring. The Sebring was OK. It was little underpowered and had a very small trunk with the convertible stuff in the way.

Hotels: Paris Las Vegas. Our reservation was for a regular room. I made the clerk aware that she would be rewarded nicely if we were upgraded to a room with a Jacuzzi tub. Because we were checking in late evening the clerk could not put us in a Suite Calais or Le Mans until the next day; so the first night was in room 2307; an upgrade high above the Bellagio fountains. She offered a Suite Calais for the remaining nights. I requested a Le Mans because the Jacuzzi tub in the Le Mans is actually bigger than the tub in the larger Suite Calais. So, the final three nights were in 1575P - a Le Mans Suite. I booked our stay through the Harrah’s web site. Using our Total Rewards accounts numbers we had free nights available to us at Paris, Rio, Bally’s, Flamingo, Harrah’s and Imperial Palace. So we stayed at Paris for free. I tipped the clerk $50 for her help making the actual cost $12.50 a night.

I received an offer from Hard Rock which included a room for 3 nights (comp), $25 in cash for showing our airline ticket, a Free Play for $15, and a $15 food credit. I booked the room knowing that we wouldn’t stay there. We figured we’d gamble a little to keep the offers coming and use the food credit for a meal at Mr. Lucky’s. I won on the free play at a craps table and we did enjoy a meal at Mr. Lucky’s. With a resort fee of $7 something a day our cost for the freebies was $22 something. I figure we came out $30 to the good on this offer.

Entertainment: We enjoyed a performance by Rita Rudner at Harrah’s on Tuesday evening. Tickets for her show were purchased the morning of the show by phone. VIP seating cost us $99 each for her performance. The seats were about 10 rows back and stage right. I had purchased tickets for O through the Bellagio box office several weeks before our trip. Our seats were fantastic. Section 102, Row H. Seats 22 and 23 put you on the isle just left of center. Row H is 8 rows back and out of the splash zone! These tickets cost $150 each.

Food: Café St. Louis (Paris’ coffee shop) 2:00am for late night snack early Tuesday morning ($21.53); JJ Boulangarie for breakfast Tuesday morning ($19.57); Mr. Lucky’s at Hard Rock for lunch on Tuesday ($29.26 less $15 food credit); Le Norte at Paris for a snack Tuesday evening before seeing Rita Rudner ($7.00); JJ Boulangarie for coffee and then later for breakfast Wednesday morning ($25.47); La Creperie at Paris for crepes Wednesday afternoon ($12.87); Le Provencal late evening dinner Wednesday ($42.02); Le Notre for coffee latte Thursday morning ($5.00); Café St. Louis for a breakfast Thursday ($34.99); N9NE at the Palms for Thursday evening dinner ($168.00); Mr. Lucky’s for breakfast Friday morning ($28.53); Jody Maroni’s at McCarron for lunch Friday before our flight home ($18.82); Cinnabon at McCarron for a Pecanbon to share on the flight home ($4.95).

Gambling: Paris, Harrah’s, Hard Rock, Bellagio, Planet Hollywood, Palms We played lots of DDB and SDDB Video Poker at Paris, Bellagio, Hard Rock. I played one session of Craps at Hard Rock. We played Black Jack at Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock and my wife played BJ at Paris as well.

The 2 hour 32 minute flight left McAllen on time and arrived in Las Vegas 10 minutes early. 1hour into the flight the flight attendants asked if there were a doctor or nurse on board. A woman with heart issues was tended to by a female doctor. The woman wasn’t responding to her nitro. Upon arrival we all had to wait while paramedics checked her out and helped her off the plane. Our travel time to baggage claim, getting the bags off the carousel took roughly 25 minutes. The wait for the bus to the rental car center took 10 minutes. Retrieving the car from the rental center took 10 minutes. We were checking into Paris 65 minutes after landing at McCarron.

There were very few people checking in at 11:40pm on a Monday night. It still took almost 15 minutes before one of the desk clerks said “next please." I asked for an upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi tub. The clerk was made aware that if she could be nice to me I would be nice to her. She told me she had to go check and would be back. She went back to some place behind the check in counter. Does any one know what the clerks are doing when they go to the “back” to check on something? What are they checking on? Anyway, she returned to inform me that she could not put me in a suite that evening. She did offer an upgrade to a room with a view of the fountains at Belllagio. If we didn’t mind moving, she offered to have us transferred to a suite the next day for the remainder of our stay. We accepted her offer. I gave her a $50 tip and we were on our way to a room on the 23rd floor with a great view of the fountains. The next day e received a call from the front desk telling us our new room was ready. 1575P was great room with nice a jacuzzi tub. I do enjoy my tub time while in Vegas.

I was tired. Local time at home was after midnight now and that meant for my body clock it was after 2am. I’m usually in bed by 9:30pm most evenings. I tell my wife that I’m going to stay in the room and not hit the casino that first night. Her response was, “well I’m not, I’m in Vegas.” I recognized her logic was correct and followed her to the casino. The casino was very active but, there wasn’t a big crowd on hand. Many of the table games were idle.

We settled at a Multi-Game Game King machine not far from the Craps pit. I played Double Double Bonus Video Poker at the .25 level. I was getting good play for about 25 minutes on the first $20 in the machine. During play on the 2nd $20 I was quickly down to about $8.00 when I had a couple of good hands. When I was at $18.00 I hit quad aces with a kicker for $500. My wife said, “Bet you’re glad you decided to come down and play now!” I was. After deciding to play at a bank of $ machines with $100 coin in I pulled out $240. Since it was after 2:00 am and we were pretty loopy the decision was made too head for the room.

Passing by Café St. Louis we realized we were hungry. We ordered some chicken tenders and potato skins. The tenders were good. The skins were great. We headed for the room soon after and were asleep sometime around 3:00am.

Tuesday morning I was awake by 6:30am but didn’t get out of bed until eight. I ran the tub full of hot water and had a great soak with the Jacuzzi running. Whilst relaxing in the tub I started reading a James Lee Burke novel. When the Jacuzzi automatically shut down I figured I’d been in the tub long enough.

She awoke. We each went through our morning rituals. By 10:00am we were almost out the door. She was looking through one of those Vegas magazines - “What’s On” or “I Love Vegas” or “LVM” or “Vegas 2 Go” - and saw an ad for Rita Rudner. She called the box office and 5 minutes later we had VIP seats for that evening’s 7:30pm performance. I’d suggested we see a show at Comedy Stop at Tropicana. That would have cost around $40. Our seats for Rita are were $210 with fees.
We stopped by JJ Boulangarie. There we each had coffee and she had French toast, I had a breakfast croissant. There was egg, some good cheese and bacon crammed inside the croissant.

The plan was to head over to Hard Rock, gamble for a while and check in. But, before we get to the valet we spied the Bellagio and decided to go play there for a bit.

The Bellagio was very subdued. We found a bank of Video Poker machines right next to the players club. Last summer we’d made a little money at these machines. After putting $20 dollars in the machine I hit quads. Play some more and I’m rapidly losing when I hit quads again. After another series of straights, 3 of a kind, full houses I hit the cash out button for a $240 win.

The jaunt over to Hard Rock took much longer that I expected. I went out of the valet towards the back of Paris to avoid the strip. This was probably a bad decision in hindsight. There is a bunch of street construction going on behind Planet Hollywood near the intersection of Audrie and Harmon. I suspect it is infrastructure work to support the big Westgate condo project going up at Planet Hollywood. The entire stretch from the strip to Paradise on Harmon is affected by the road work.

Once we arrived at Hard Rock we checked in and got the skinny on how to take advantage of our offers. The players club did have my wife on file. She wasn’t sure if she had a HR card. A new card was issued. The clerk told us how to play the $15 free play, where to redeem the coupon for $25 by showing our airline info and the $15 food credit.

Next step was to have lunch at Mr. Lucky’s. She ordered the Gambler’s Special. The special is a sirloin steak with 3 grilled shrimp and some good garlic smashed potatoes. It is not on the menu. Just ask and they’ll gladly serve it up. I choose some pasta with chicken which was a little picante. I liked the dish a bunch. We each had a salad. The $29+ plus bill was reduced by $15.

We played VP for a while. I lost some money, probably less than $100. A $5 minimum Craps table was idle. She went off to find a Megabucks machine. I bought in for a $100. I threw boxcars on the come out roll. This unfortunately was a sign of things to come. Then, I set a point, put 2X odds down, and put some money on the come. I then rolled a couple of numbers put 2X odds on them and seven out. My hundy was going quickly. I placed a pass line bet for $5 again. This time I made a pass line bet for the dealers. Set the point at 9. I backed up my bet and the dealers bet with 2X odds. Next roll was a nine, so everybody won. I felt like this might be the beginning of a good roll. I placed the free bet for $15 on the pass line and proceeded to roll a seven. I won! After that I had a series of - set a point make come bets, play 2X odds and then seven out. When I had two red chips left I threw them on the felt and said, “Put ‘em in the box for y’all.” The dealers were grateful. I was on and off the Craps table in less than 8 minutes.

I was disappointed. I was consoled by the fact that we were still playing on Paris’ and Bellagio’s money.

I found my wife at a Wheel of Fortune slot. She’d lost some money at the Megabucks machine and was now losing at WOF. I put $20 in a VP DDB and won $100. Video Poker was very good to me this trip. Last year it kicked me in the nuts most of the time. I put $100 in a $ WOF slot and proceeded to get a spin and hit for $250. I whittled that down to $200 and cashed out with a $100 profit. I was feeling real good ‘bout things at this point. She was a bit down because she hadn’t had a good win yet. This was going to change later in the trip!

We went back to Paris and rested in the room for an hour or so. Then we dressed for the evening and took a stroll down the strip to Harrah’s. We played a little money through some VP machines losing a little bit. We just never have a good vibe in this joint.

We located the box office and got our tickets for the show. We played a little more and each cashed out with little wins before going to the show room. Our seats were good. Rita was way funny. My face was sore from smiling and laughing so much. My wife really enjoyed Rita’s performance. We are both glad we saw the show.

We walked back up the strip going across LV Blvd. to Bellagio via the bridge by Bally’s. We watched a fountain show. Then it was back over to Paris. I continued to have a series of small wins playing VP. My wife was up and down. I was very pleased about the gambling. At that point we had been in Vegas 24 hours and had not even touched our bankroll for the trip.

We headed back to the room sometime after 1:00am. I spent some time in the Jacuzzi reading. Lights out occurred sometime after 2:00am.

    Wednesday, June 11, 2008
She was sleeping soundly when I awoke at 7:15am. I got into the Jacuzzi and read for ½ hour before getting dressed and going down to the JJ Boulangarie for a coffee latté.

I found some silly penny slots located in the area close to Bally’s on the walkway between Paris and Bally’s. I had a couple of spins on this machine which rang up credits for five minutes at a time. I didn’t even know what a winner was or how much money I was betting. I finally realized that although this was a penny machine I was betting $1.80 each spin. I then realized that after putting in $20 I had reached $80+. A smart person would have cashed. I continued to play for a least another 35 minutes before cashing out with a $10 profit. A least I paid for the coffee and had a lot of fun on that silly machine.

She awoke, did her morning thing and found me in the casino playing VP. We had a little breakfast at JJ Boulangarie before hitting the VP machines again. We were not so lucky on this day. We each played several hundreds of dollars through a variety of VP machines, WOF slots, Megabucks and had a series of loses. We finally had to get into our bankroll. We played up and down most of the afternoon. At this point the casino has $350 of our money. We were adding some serious points to our Total Rewards accounts and had not lost a ton of money.

It was time for a nap. So, we went back to the room for a rest before getting dressed for an evening over at Bellagio. We had tickets for the 7:30pm performance of O. We enjoyed the room. It was a very comfortable place to spend time. My only complaint is that they don’t have plasma or LCD television. I hope they upgrade the TV’s at some point.

Our evening at Bellagio was royally fantastic. After we went to the box office to retrieve out tickets we found the same VP machine we had played the day before. I popped a $100 in the machine. I was complaining that I wasn’t getting any play. When I had $18 left I hit the deal button and the machine locked up. The machine dealt me a Royal Flush in Spades! A Floor Slot Supervisor was there in less that a minute. He checked and reset the machine. He then took out his cash pouch and peeled of 10 $100 bills. I gave him a $20. Pretty nice way to start our night a Bellagio! I’ve had two Royal Flushes over the past 7 seven years. The first was at the Wynn. I guess I should only play VP at the nice joints.

O was great. On previous trips we have seen Zumanity and LOVE. I liked them all. I think I like LOVE just a bit more than O. Since The Beatles were so much a part of my youth, Love touched some deep places in my being. O is a great show. I highly recommend seeing it.

After the show we played some more VP at a different bank of machines. I hit quad Queens for $250. We are now up quite a bit for this trip.

Back over to Paris. We lost some money on VP. Before 1:00am we are headed for the room. After two full days in Vegas we have restored our gambling bankroll and are playing on a couple of casino’s money.

    Thursday, June 12, 2008
I was up very early again. Threw on some clothes and headed for some coffee and the penny slots over by Bally’s. The coffee run cost me $40. My wife joined me at the Game King machines I had some wins on. I was losing fairly regularly. My $20 and $100 were bills being consumed by the machine. I made some back. I was about to cash out with $140 in losses when she said, “O, honey look!” She had a Royal Flush in Clubs on her screen. She was dealt everything but the Queen. It filled in on the draw. We were way excited for her first ever Royal Flush.

The effects of little sleep were catching up with me. I went back to the room about 10:30am. I snoozed a little while watching the beginning of the US Open on ESPN. Around 11:40am my wife walked in the door and said “guess what!”, and proceeds to throw a bunch of money above the bed. As the money falls to the bed she said, “Thought you’d like to roll around in this.” In the previous hour she hit 4 aces on a $ VP machine for $800; quads twice in about ten minutes for $250 each; then quad 2’s with a kicker on a .25 machine for $400 and finally quads for a $100. Not a bad hour at the machines. Since breakfast that morning she had $2800 in winnings. Amazing! We were definitely playing on house money the rest of this trip!

We were very excited. I was not feeling exhausted any more. We went over to Planet Hollywood. We bought in for a $100 each at a $5 minimum Black Jack table. We played for 2 ½ hours. The table had some nice folks and a couple of good dealers rotating around breaks. I was losing after a good run of cards. My betting had been ranging between $5 and $25 a hand. I had several green chips from the little run and no red chips left. I was about to color up with a $25 loss for the session when I remembered I was here to gamble and we were way ahead for the trip. So I started betting green chips. My cards were OK for a few minutes and I was about even. Then I was down to two green chips. Both of the chips were put on the circle in front of me. The dealer busted. So I now had $100. The next hand was one I must double down on. I had two greens bet, I doubled it. When the dealer put two 2’s in a row on her hand I thought she’d hit 17 and beaten me. But, it only gave her 16 and the next card was a face. A few minutes later I saw that I had 8 green chips and decided it was time to color up. A $100 win at the BJ table made me happy. She wound up losing $75 and it didn’t bother her a bit.

It was time for some rest in the room. We enjoyed an hour of down time. She snoozed for about an hour. I watched the US Open. We dressed for an evening at the Palms.

After all the trips we’ve made to Vegas this was our first time in the Palms. The Palms is a nice joint. You can’t call this a “carpet joint” because there is wood flooring throughout the casino. We made the customary stop at the Player’s Club to get cards. There are lots and lots of VP machines of all varieties and pay scales around this establishment. We played VP for a bit.

On that evening we found the mix of people there a bit strange. There were lots of hip or trying to be hip young ones in the place. There were also a bunch of older to elderly Oriental folks playing slots and VP. Also, some crusty looking folks playing VP whom I figured were locals. Some really well dressed young and middle aged patrons milling about the tables and bars. I even saw some skanky, crack-head looking women trolling the joint. This seemed strange ‘cause it was early evening. The Stone Temple Pilots were playing at the Pearl Concert venue. That might have been the reason for the diverse herd of humans.

We had reservations for 7:30pm at N9NE. Our meal at N9NE was very good. This place is very LOUD. The music was loud. The clientele was mostly young and having to speak loudly to have conversation. The tables were set close together so you get an up close and personal experience with the other patrons.

She ordered a glass of Merlot. I had a cocktail the waiter recommended. It had some champagne, and some hard stuff (tequila or gin) lemon some other stuff I think. It was good, very refreshing. They brought a basket with a nice assortment of breads to the table before we ordered. We skipped appetizers. She ordered Surf and Turf. It consisted of a nice 8oz Filet and a lobster claw and portion of a tail. I ordered the 12oz bone in fillet. We shared a side of Aunt (somebody’s) Jalapeno Scalloped Potatoes. The meal was great. The steaks had great flavor and texture. We requested medium rare and I can’t remember ever having a steak so well prepared. The potato side dish was outstanding; full of some tasty cheese, slivers of onion and jalapeno. Our entrees cost in the $45-$60 range. The drinks were $15. The side was $11. Our meal with a 20% tip was $203.

After dinner we played a $100 bill each through some SDDB machines. We racked up a bunch of points on our cards. We were getting triple points that day through some promotion for new card holders.

We made our way back to Paris. After a quick stroll through the casino we were in our room by 11:30pm. We did some initial packing. There wasn’t anything interesting on TV. I took another Jacuzzi and read some more of the book I’d brought along. Some time after 12:30am we were asleep.

    Friday, June 13, 2008
Once again I was wide awake very early. At 5:15am I’m in the Jacuzzi relaxing and reading. At 6:15 I was sitting in front of the silly slot machines by Bally’s drinking coffee purchased from Le Notre. My early morning coffee session cost $140 between the slots and a session of VP.

Back in the room I lay in bed for a while. My wife got up around 8:00am and was soon ready for the day. We finished packing. Check out was fast and easy. Our Total Rewards cards were swiped at checkout and $70 was removed from the charges to our room.

The trip to Hard Rock didn’t take 10 minutes. We checked out. We ate some breakfast at Mr. Lucky’s. The Western Omelet was prepared well. The hash browns and English muffin were tasty. The fresh squeezed orange juice was good.

After breakfast we took turns losing $50 each in a Megabucks slot. We then went and found seats at a $5 minimum Black Jack table. We each bought in for $100. At one point she had $425 worth of chips in front of her. At that same time I had $220. Together were up $445 for the session. We decided that we would color up once we got up over $600 or dropped to $400. We both had some good runs of cards. But the cards turned and the dealer began to win every double down and hit 18 - 21 when she had 4-6 showing. My wife colored with a $400 win. I rode it to the felt. We lost a few dollars in a Megabucks machine. She watched me lose a little more in a $ WOF.

Then it was time to grab the rental car and head for the airport. Traffic was light. We stopped at the gas station on Paradise near the airport. I put $9 in the Sebring. Gas was selling for $4.18 per gallon. We were in and out of the Car Rental facility in less than 10 minutes. The line to get on a bus to the airport took less than one minute. The ride to air port was quick. The line at Allegiant, which sometimes can be ridiculously long, took about 15 minutes. We were through security about an hour and ½ before our flight boarded. We were hungry. We found a place in Concourse D called Joey Maroni’s. This place specialized in sausages and hot dogs. She had a Hot Dog Combo. I had a Combo with a turkey/chorizo sausage. The combo included the dog or sausage on a bun, fries or chips and a fountain soda. You could add grilled onions and peppers to any dog or sausage and no extra charge. This little feast ran $19.

After lunch we played some VP. She cashed a ticket for $90 after investing $20. I cashed a ticket for $60 after putting in a $10 bill. I put another $10 in and cashed a ticket for 40$. I played a $ WOF hoping for a big hit and then a decision to spend a few more days in Vegas. But I just lost a few bucks and decided to quit $30 ahead at the airport.

Our Allegiant flight boarded on time. The flight home was 2 hours 18 minutes. Our son picked us up. We were home and unpacked by 10:30pm.

This was the best short trip we’ve had to Vegas. Without a doubt this was our best trip for gambling. Two Royals, a bunch of well paying Quads and some good cash management insured that we came home with some house money.

Hope you enjoyed the read and maybe learned something which helps you plan your next trip to Las Vegas. My wife and I may try to get out there once more this summer. If not, I’ll be looking for cheap airfare and free hotel nights for the days just after Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Highlights and things we recommend to other travelers to Vegas: Staying at Paris in a Le Mans Suite; Seeing Rita Rudner’s show at Harrah’s; seeing O at Bellagio; a meal at N9NE (if you can handle a noisy joint); spending a little time gambling at Hard Rock - ‘cause they tend to send good offers to card holders when occupancy rates are low

Things we usually do but didn’t get to this trip: eat at Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill in Ceasars; spend some time at Green Valley Ranch and Sunset Station to gamble a little; go downtown one night, go to WYNN and gamble a little, eat at PF Changs in Planet Hollywood.

Things we wanted to do but didn’t (now on the list for next trip): see the new joint Palazzo, go to Ethel M’s chocolate joint in Henderson, take a ride up to Mt. Charleston

    Thanks

    Thanks for the nice comments.

VegasAddict - yeah it was a great run. Wish I'd been there to observe. But, then again I might have been a jinx?

rowEn - hope y'all have a wonderful trip and great luck gambling.

Hoopswife - I think you'll enjoy Rita. It is a straight "stand up" comedy show. Nobody else on stage but Rita. I wasn't thrilled when my wife told me she wanted to go see Rita. But, I decided to not be negative and just said, "great." I'm glad I did.

tcoccona - thanks for the kind remarks. May your next Vegas adventure be awesome.

Thanks for the report! I too had been on the fence about seeing Rita, but now have it on my want to do list for Sept.

Great VP wins....can't frown about putting 20s into slots and taking more out either!

Blonde_4_Ever - thanks. We love Paris Las Vegas too. My all time favorite room in Vegas is out at Green Valley Ranch. The casoino there - not so much. My wife REALLY likes staying at Paris.

kodidog - Do go see Rita. I think you'll be glad you did. Try the discount ticket place by the big Coke bottle or the the Fashion Show Mall. Might find a bargain. Thanks for the props.

Great, informative TR. Nice gaming wins!

We're going to be at Paris in two weeks, and I'm going to go for a LeMans in the same way you do. I have nothing to lose! We're also checking in on a Monday, so cross your fingers for us!

Nice write up! Sounds like VP treated you right.

I'll have a cigar for you next time we're in town together.

Leeza14 - thanks. I've found the desk folk at Paris to be very accommodating. Our fingers are crossed!
I hope your situation resolves and you will not have any big hassles with your Allegiant reservation. I had to change an Allegiant flight once - it cost me an additional $50 each way.

ghetto - thanks for the props.

peanutmnm - yeah, the VP was very good to us this trip. One of these days we will share a good cigar and some good whiskey once again in our favorite playground.

Great trip report. Nice to see the winnings! BTW, I grew up in Mission (Sharyland). Good to see another RGV person on here.

Hahahaha...couldn't help but laugh while thinking how much you used/enjoyed the jacuzzi! Reeeeelaxing.
And the winnings between the two of you!
That was one sweet trip. Thanks so much for sharing.

Debo - thanks. We've been in the Valley for several years. Originally fro San Antonio.

VegasGirl80 - the Paris room was very nice. Good luck with the jones. I find booking a trip can help the symptoms.

Souette - I loves me some jacuzzi time while in Vegas. It was one of our sweetest trips yet.

Nice wins on the VP; unfortunately I was donating to the VP machines the whole time I was at Paris. Maybe next time I'll get lucky.

gomoney590 - thanks for the post. We usually make donations on our visits to Paris. This time seemed almost surreal. I have read others reports of winning trips and been suspicious. I mean we've had some big wins a few times but, we still came home with less money than we took to Vegas. This was definitely the first time that our winnings covered the cost of the trip - airfare, shows, meals. I don't have any expectation that this run of luck will be repeated on future trips. We go with a bankroll we are willing to risk and just have fun. If we win -great. If we don't, we weren't gonna pay bills with that money anyway.
Hope you get way lucky on your next visit to Vegas.

    Gotavegasjones...

Everyone I have ever known says they made money when they went to Vegas. In fact, the whole world should thank me because I am apparently the ONLY one who ever loses money there. I guess without me, Las Vegas would be out of business! <grin>
