    My Trip Report

Drove from Fresno to Vegas on Wednesday. 5 hour drive. No traffic. Picked up POV coupon book from Las Vegas Advisor office. Great coupons and highly worth it.

Ate at Green Valley Ranch. Very good buffet as is the case with most Station casinos. Used 2-for-1 POV coupon.

Checked in at the Tuscany hotel. Got at a great rate of only $45 including tax at i4vegas.com. Tuscany rooms are HUGE. Includes huge couch and chair, dining table with chairs, fridge, and stove top. Very quiet too.

Used POV coupon to buy 2-for-1 Jubilee tickets which saved me $70 for seats that was half way from the stage. These were actually perfect seats because there are so many performers on stage that sitting too close is bad. Jubilee is the perfect show for both men and women. Men like it because of the topless showgirls. Women love it because of the incredible costumes are presentation. I saw Folies Bergere last year and it was great too but Jubilee is much more spectacular.

Friday morning, we checked out of the Tuscany and ate at their coffee shop. We asked for fried eggs and they brought us scrambled. I asked for a steak cooked medium. They brought me the rawest steak I ever saw in my life. I did not eat most of it. The waitress was very nice and offered to bring me a new steak, but I NEVER send food back to the kitchen because I don't want the cook to spit in my food.

The roulette dealers allowed me to use 3 match play coupons at the same time. Bet a total of $15 on black and won. Made a profit of $30 and tipped the dealer $1.

Went to Circus Circus and bought an all-day pass to Adventuredome. It was worth paying $20 after the $4 coupon that I got from the Vegas magazine that was in my hotel room. They have decent rides for such a small amusement park, and you can't beat the climate control. Laser tag was a blast and good exercise. About 15 people participate at a time and try to shoot without being shot. I had fun hiding in corners and being a sniper.

Drove downtown to do the 2pm Neon Boneyard tour that I had a reservation for. Tour lasted about an hour. Tour guide was very knowlegeable. If you take the tour, be sure to wear sunscreen and a hat. Photos are allowed but you have to sign an agreement not to publish the photos anywhere.

Checked into the Orleans. I used a mailer I received a couple weeks ago for 2 free nights plus $50 free food plus $25 free bet. This is the second time in 2 years I got the same offer and I don't even gamble at the Orleans! It pays to have a players card. Room was very nice as usual. Went to Orleans buffet for the first time for a free meal. Was very good.

Went back to Circus Circus to use the remainder of the 1-day pass for the rides. Was much more crowded now. If you want to visit the Adventuredome, do so in the morning!

Went to Palazzo for the first time. Girlfriend had some Gelato from their very fancy Italian snack bar. Browsed the expensive shops (yawn.)

Went back to Orleans and called it a night.

Saturday morning, slept late. Still had $34 of free food left, so we ate at the Orleans coffee shop. Had a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. YUMMMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were very generous with the beef and cheese. Girlfriend ate cornflake-dipped french toast. Quite yummy too.

Drove to the Cupcakery. Girfriend bought four cupcakes for $3 each. She thought it was worth it. Then we drove to the largest scrapbook store in Vegas. She shopped while I took a catnap in the car.

Went back to Orleans and relaxed. Went back to the coffee shop to use up the rest of my free food. Ordered the Cheesesteak for the second time the same day. Was worth it again.

Used my $25 free bet to win $25 at the Orleans roulette table. Took the money and ran.

Drove to Disney surplus store. Relaxed in the car again while girlfriend shopped. Ate dessert at Buffalo Wild Wings because we both own the stock. We like the atmosphere and think the company will flourish.

Drove to Red Rock casino for the first time. Very nice casino. Rivals Green Valley Ranch as possibly the nicest Station casino. Played penny slots to try to win the Jumbo Jackpot. Didn't work. Go figure.

Sunday morning checked out from Orleans. Went to breakfast buffet. Girlfriend used her free buffet coupon that she got for signing up for a players card. Buffet cost me $7.

Drove to Dunkin Donuts since they are none near Fresno. Bought 2 dozen donuts and 50 donut holes. Drove home happy.

Sounds like you had a fun time...I'll have to try one of the Station casino buffets. Sounds good.
