    My Trip Report

This trip was to do alot of site seeing and we did just that. It was myself and my dear hubby. We left our home on Saturday, July 14th to drive to Savannah, Georgia to fly out on Sunday morning.

    Sunday-July 15th

We arrived at the airport around 4:00a.m. for our 6:00a.m. flight (Delta) We parked our car and was picked up by the shuttle. When we arrived at the Delta desk it wasn't open yet. We had to wait 30 mins. before checking our luggage. We then were the first to check in and off we go to find some breakfast. We arrive in Las Vegas at 9:30a.m. Vegas time and checked in at TI. There was a line but it went really fast. The girl that checked us in noticed my credit card was a Disney one and we strike up a conversation. We ended up with a room on the 26th floor with a view of the North Strip. We are excited and head off to the room to put up our luggage. We really liked the room. It was a nice size with a nice size bathroom. Loved the view! Now, we needed to feed our stomachs. As my hubby would say, our stomachs thought our throats had been cut :) We decided to check out what was available inside TI and ended up at (sorry about the spelling)Khahoniville and had a huge burger and fries. After going back to the room to change out of our traveling cloths we decided to do some exploring. We headed for the tram that TI and The Mirage share. We then explored the Mirage some and decided to pay and go through The Secret Garden. They have a new baby dolphin. I really enjoyed this place and we spent a couple of hours in here. We then explored The Venetian and The Wynn. We then were in search of something small to eat for supper. I wasn't feeling well at this point so we just picked up a snack and ate in our room. I think we ended up walking to the Fashion Mall but by the time we got there, around 7:00p.m. Almost all the stores where closed. We'll return on another day. We return back to TI and with the early morning wake up call, 3:00a.m. and the time difference, we decide to turn in for the night.

(Just a side note: We really took this trip to see all the sites. We didn't gamble. We didn't set out not to gamble but the way most slot machines are set up now, which is all we play, we didn't take the time to get a card. We would have played if we could just put coin in the machine. I sat down at one to play and was looking all over for the coin slot.:confused2: but didn't find it. We just never got back to it.)

Up next-Day 2- How many Casino can you see in one day?

There's nothing wrong with not gambling; there's so much to see and do in Vegas that gambling just doesn't have to be the priority anymore.

AGREED! My wife and I are taking our first trip down in two weeks and we're not into gambling at all. There's just no pull for us; I know I know....we're odd!
