    My Trip Report

    NSF TR

I am going to keep this short and sweet.

Flew out 10/19 on SWA. On time as usual. Stayed in King suite at IP this time out. Everyone was on the strip except for CHEF, so I ponied up the cash to stay on strip also. Looking like a good idea now that I can contact a host about future discounted stays at IP. Price for the room after comps was $335 for 3 nites. Not great but ok.

Got settled Thursday nite around 9pm. Called Patti who was partying with SH0CK and Silversmiff at the Fitz. I played BJ in the champagne pit for an hour(-$150) or so and headed DT. Grabbed some grub at Magnolia’s at 4 Q, and Becky calls. She is coming down in about an hour. I buy in on a $10 dice table and tune $100 into $769 in the matter of 40 minutes. Shooter next to me held dice for over 30 minutes and hit his 10 points at least 3 times, and I had max odds working. Tipped the dealers 2 greens and chased Becky down at the fitz. We had a couple drinks while playing VP waiting for Patti, Scott, and John. They are very wasted but in fun mood, and they want to eat at Binions. John and I go to Plaza and play BJ with good rules, and I end up ahead $200. The gang shows up and more drinks are consumed and I lose all but $6 of my BJ winnings playing 100 play nickels. Stick the $6 ticket in to a WOF .25 on the way out and hit a spin for 250 quarters. We cabbed back to our respective hotels and hit the bed around 3:30am after picking up another $200 win at dice.

I was awakened by my phone around 5am by one of my employees who had some questions, and repeated this process x 5 over the next 2 hours, so not a lot of sleep was had that morning. Then the music from the pool started at 10am, so I just got up.

I kept texting Tonya at work just to tease her when I was up and that was good fun, and she was a good sport about it. I gambled a few hours on BJ and VP, and lost all my previous nights winnings and another $200 after that before lunch. Sumbitch.

Mikey rang me to check on the days events. We were meeting at Grand Luxe at Venetian for lunch at 130pm. Scott, Mikey, and I got a table as Becky and Smiff were running late. They seated us way in the back where the beautiful people would not have to view us hooligans eating. I am sure the Matre’d was picturing the scene from the Blues Brothers where Jake and Elwood want to by the women in the restaurant when he saw us roll up. We were pretty sure we pissed our waiter off right away as he went to put the napkin on SH0CK’s lap, Scott grabbed it away, and Mikey told him he was quite able to place his own napkin, or something to that affect. Waiter walked away in a huff, and we giggled a bit about his lifestyle, not that there is anything wrong with it. LOL. Becky and John showed up and we ordered. My phone rang and it was Angy, so I teased about being in Vegas and then Mikey chatted with her. Well by time we got our entrees, Angy was making the 2 hour drive to MDW so she could join us for cocktails that evening. Too f-ing crazy, my buddy BC.

We left after our meal to ready ourselves for the evenings festivities. Mikey had to get Sticky at 5:30, so Sh0CK and I went to IP to gamble. I needed to make a call or to and next thing I knew it was 530pm. I fell asleep for 2 hours and decided another hour might be a good idea, as Tonya was coming over to IP for drinks at 730pm.In typical woman fashion she showed around 830 giving me enough time to lose $200 on dice. We had time for 2 drinks before we walked down to Paris for the Party bus. Riders were Mikey, Sticky, SH0CK, CK, Smiff, Patti, Tonya, and I. We headed to the liquor store and got some liquid refreshments and it was game on as we headed to McCarren to get first Sin, and then Angy. We had a blast for the next 3 hours?, cruising, drinking, dancing, and acting way younger than our ages. It was fun, and I had a great time.

We then proceeded to Carnaval Court. We got some drinks, and I lost $95 in about 10 hands of BJ and Angy lost her cash even faster. We decided dancing would be cheaper so we danced for a while. We also met up with Cheran and her friend, and they seemed real nice. We lost track of Tonya around 2ish when we were dancing, and Sin had not eaten in a while so Sin, Patti, Scott, and I went to Ellis Island for the steak special. It was pretty good although I ate more of my pancakes that I ordered in addition to the steak. We cabbed back to IP and everyone came up to my room. Scott was going to sleep on the pullout couch, but Sin, Patti, and I teased him about how the bathroom was the balcony or the elevator, so he left with them at 5am. A very fun night.

Awoke around 10am as the music started pumping by the pool. I called Scott to see if we were going to Jillians to watch Alabama/Tennesee, as he was unsure at 5am if that was going to be doable or not. We were still on and met a Jillians at 12 noon. We got some beers and nachos(thanks Scott) and watched the first half. Ck and SS were heading over but we missed them. Scott and I headed to the Plaza so I could cash my WOF ticket from 2 days ago and I wanted to play craps and BJ. Angy called and was coming over as we watched more of the Tennesee game in the book. I made $12 on my $200 by in at craps table after tipping the boys $10. I saw Angy and colored up. She wanted to play BJ, so we found a 2 deck nonpitch game with H17, 4 splits, DAS. Pretty good rules I thought. We played for about 2- 21/2 hours I am guessing and I lost my buy in of $500. Scott had joined us after the game and played for awhile and then Sin, Patii, CK, and Smiff found us. All of us except Becky and SS headed to IP so that Angy and Sin could check out a 2BR suite for the MM4 happenings. After some waiting, they schmoozed our way up to see the suite. Good work girls. I am sure they would have told me to F-off. It looked just like the last suite except another bedroom and a little more space on the balcony. We were figuring with sleeping bags we could have lots of drunks up there all at once passed out. Everyone left to get cleaned up to go to Voodoo.

I left with Angy to NY,NY to let her get changed, and then we found Mikey and Sticky playing Pai gow. Angy and I grabbed a few slices of pizza for dinner, and then found Mikey and Sticky again. We grabbed some drinks and headed to Rio. The discussion with the cab driver was funny, with Angy talking of want to see male strippers and somehow the cabbie, in broken Afro-English was trying to get a point out about women having all the power. I finally mentioned that they do have all the power because they have all the pussy, and we giggled a bit.
We got to the Mexican place at Rio where everyone was meeting. Some had not had dinner so Mikey, Sticky, Angy and I went to play. Mikey and Stick were playing Rapid Roulette, so we joined them for a bit, and I lost $100 in 10 spins. Not.One.Number.Hit. Stupid game.. We headed back up to the restaurant where the eating group was having a hard time with service staff. Oh, I forgot to mention CHEF (Andy) and CoasterHubby had joined the group. The line for Voodoo was too long, so we headed to CP for some bar I never been to before. Andy volunteered to drive a bunch of us over, so me, Scott, Sin, Patti, Angy all crammed in his rental. He dropped us and went to park. We went to Cleopatras barge and danced for like 40 seconds and it was too crowded. Scott and I found a bar outside the sportsbook, and grabbed some drinks and the girls found us. Andy and Tonya found us after parking and the group wanted to head DT. I was dead tired and it was about midnight, so I said my goodbyes as I was calling it a night. Andy had parked at IP so we walked over and we took a group picture laying in my king bed with mirrored ceiling, before they headed out. I crashed.

I got up and spoke to a host and placed a bet on KC + 5.5 for $300. I pussed out, because I was going to bet $1000, then $500, but I settled at $300, which was the value of my comp. Cabbed to airport. Got message from Sin wishing me safe travels and Happy Birthday and spoke to Angy we she woke up around noon. Flew home. Found out KC won outright and now have a ticket for $630 to collect on, leaving me -$670 for gambling on the trip. Not too bad for 3 days in Vegas.

All told a great time with a great group of people. You guys rock! Can’t Wait for MM4!

What a roller coaster at the tables. Nice score on the dice, though.

And all in all, well played old man.

Marty, you are the man :nworthy: And you made a fairly decent bartender in the party bus too.

Hope you made it into the office OK on Monday then turned those lights down real low and told them to hold all your calls because you were "in a meeting" with a pillow. Great times my friend, great times.

    Looking forward to MM4 :drunk:

    Hey Marty,

Good trip, good report. Too bad you couldn't put that nice big room to more use. After enjoying all the other TR's and seeing all the pics I now know what you look like in case you're ever at BRF when I'm there.

By the way, the Packers are doing just fine. A little inexperienced yes, but the cupboard is not bare. It won't take them 10 plus years to be back like it did another team which I won't name. :poke:
