    My Trip Report

Hey gang, got back this week and still catching up on things. Stayed at Monte Carlo as you know. first I will start with whats accessible and what isnt since others may come here that need access as I do.
hotels: been going to vegas since 87, Cesars VERY accessbile, Paris not so good (bathrooms SUCK!) in the shopping food areas (got stuck badly)do every time. Monte Carlo VERY accessible, pool areas rought but once we land its ok and GUESS WHAT I DID THE RIVER POOL, hubby carried me around it, Wave pool some freinds carried me and sat with me in it (fun fun) with drink in hand. Bathrooms accessible somewhat (got stuck a few timse)Alladin (bathrooms so so, shopping GREAT both accessible, shows accessible, NY NY, accessible bathrooms Not so great got stuck yet again, Harrahs a bit congested but overall good access NICE people though there.

Our room, well we upgraeded to a suite with Jacuzzi and you wont belive what we paid for 4 days extra for it 90$ TOTAL!!!! WOO HOO GOTTA LOVE THAT PLACE, food bleck, NY america restraunt GREAT food. My husband loved the Pub beer at Monte Carlo, I loved Houdinins Lounge where I had m y Khalua and cream, Ceasars is our favorite daytime place to eat at the Italian Restraunt in the Forums, had a Absolute Screwdriver at Ceasars also yummmy. we ALWAYs eat at Paris, thats where we had crepes again, opps alsmost forgot we at e at NY NY restraunt (forgot name) and I had a nice Steak dinner , it was just too hot for us to walk around or even get into taxi with my WC and my health.

Gambling: I won at Cesars, Monte Carlo, Alladin,, hubby won at monte Carlo, we both came home with money$$$:)

Wax musem we just love that soo much, almosf forgot we went to Venetian (terrible for winning money$) but I love that place, the Venetian guy there (main worker) took us all the way outside and over to the special elevator (NO WAY YOU COULD FIND INA WHEELCHAIR), to get into Maddam TEasseaus museum, took lots of pictures in there.

I was very very ill one night, was worrieed about going to hospital but I made it rhough ok.

Here is whom I met: two gals in 30s at Monte carlo who shared lounge chairs with me and hubby, neat gals we drank and hung out, they thought I was thier age:nworthy: :nworthy: they ARE my freinds,ha,ha,ha,ha, met woman from Canada who was German, met people from Britian, met just all kinds of people this trip, but the funniest was the gal walking outside in burning heat, waering ALL blakc, she was a lovley african american gal, LONG black braided hair, long black strech pants, Long blakcc shirt, Long black boots, and large Black leather bakcpack !OUCHHHHH I could hardly watch her it loooked like she was frying like an egg on teh sidewalk.

Lots of Ho clothes (ok for those who dont know worlddy matters, that means hooker clothes,ha,hah,a), the only BAD partt of those clothes on women is that they alwayss seem to be homley women,ha,ha,ha,ha with bad Cellulite and They think they look hot, trust me thatss not hot on 40 something gals. NOT ONE!!! person offered us a lovley slip of paper (we all know those guys and gals outside the casino hotels), guesss they figure people like us dont have sex:wink2: ahhh yes we do,ha,ha,ha,ha.

    BEST BEST PARTT OF TRIP!!!!!!!!

THE FAB FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I WAs First in linee (they let WC go first), PRIME seating area with no one Next to me or in front of me directly, Sit and have a drink and Man oh man just go with it, and you are back into the 60s and 70s (my time), I would have paid 200$ easily for my ticket.

We are going back Next June 2007 for SURE and will stay most likley at the Ceasars Palace (been years) for duaghters 21st bday and we will be taking our daughter who will be almost 13, they both love to Shop and see shows, we will have a blast, Im Praying the FAB FOUR will be theree because we ALL love the beatles, weree a fun family for traveling, we just go with the flow, we all love to see things and swimming pools, no one is uptight in our home with traveling, jsut wish I could do it nmore.

well heress my ranking this trip

Hotel MC: Great a bit boring for my taste however, but nice clean room not a Pindrop of noise in our suite.

Food: all Good we ate at, Alladin great places to eat, excpet not fans of MOnte carlo food sorry tos ay.

Gambling : Cesars we always do well, MC did well good lay out, pretty quiet

Entertainment : Alladin hands down best show weve ever seen there, and weve seen alot, we like the intimate shows like that.

Access: best: Monte Carlo,Cesars Worst: Harrahs

Best place to People WAtch: MGM, lots of younger hip crowds, wouldnt way to stay there (havent in years) too stiff for me and too dark everywhere!, got sick at the sports bar deli (BAD food for me at least)

Best Lounge: Monte Carlo, Cesars (for those 30s on up), I like pianists since Im on so that has alot to do with it).

Pools, Ive been to stay at least 1/4 of the really major hotels in the STripsince 97, my choices are: Monte Carlo,Cesars, Flamingo, MGM not bad , and The hilton (nice pool there I must say).

Drinks: Ceasars are really great about giving you wahty you want when playing at slots or tables (by the way I won good at ROULETTE AT BALLYS).

Best Loung music overall: HANDS DOWN BALLYS, these guys sounded just like the 4 tops and that style, they were awesome and its free, ( would pay to hear them again), sit and play roulette and listen to them, thats a real treat and worth the money you are spedning gamlbing on Roulette (thats my fav table game to play)

Tipping: ALWAYS tip, we tip well, we are served well, and its just respecteful thing to do.

WEather, (if your in a WC like me, BRING your ELBOW PADS (most who use chairs know they are for sores from arms laying that way in hopsital beds), I use them to travel.

HAd a Great Time, no complaints really, never get the WHINERS additude (why do you go if your going to WHine), unless you get hurt or something or theft ectttt I just dont get it. PS. we had GREAT TAXI VANS DRIVERES THIS TIME:)

GOtta Run now (oops cant run,ha,ha,ha,ha), Hope you Enjoy My Trip I sure didd, cannnot wait to get back there but for now, we will keep playing in our local Mountain CAsinos).

    HUGSSS my VEgas Buds

Hi don, I am fun:ssst: , but dont tell anyone , most think us 89 pounders in WC just sleep all day,ha,ha,ha. Im not sure about MM I really would love that, we just know we want totake daughter for her Birthday but I would also if I could get 2 good trip deals like to go in March to meet some great people on here. I cannot fly alone so I really have to rely on my husband to let me know if we can take that time with his work. I like March in Vegas, nice weather easy to get around for me weather wise. Im crossing my fingeres on that one, Ive still got quite a bit of time to work on him:poke: , so will wait until around December to bring it up,ha,ha,ha, he said next trip out there he wants to have more money to take$, he loves black jack and Dollar$ slots (thats what he won his money on this time).

Honestly if I could physicaly do it I would go alone no problem Im not much of a fearful type person that way, but I tell you my hubby is a fun guy to travel with and he would enjoy us all meeting, hes just a guy guy!, pretty laid back and goes with the flow when traveling, love that about him.

Will keep fingers and toes crossed on 2 more trips , Sure would be fun to meet , have a drink, play some machines or a few tables and all chat.

    hugs
Joanne 45 (told I look 35 in Vegas, must be the booze my lady freinds were drinking,ha,ha,ha)

Thanks for sharing with us Joanne. I really loved the Fab 4 show also when I saw them. That's interesting that the porn slappers didn't give you any advertisement. They usually don't discriminate. :)
Hope to meet you sometime in Vegas. We missed by a week.

Sounds like a good trip. I can imagine MC is a little slow for your tastes ;) but which restaurants there didn't you like? I usually consider food a strength there between Andre's, Blackstones, and the cafe.

Great TR Joanne. When you went to see the Fab four where did you get the tickets? I've been to Alladins website and haven't found them. The lounge at Ballys is that the one right by the asian resturant? I've been to Bally's a few times but I was drunk when I left so my memories are a little bit hazzy as to where the lounge/lounges are.

    Great report!!

Yeah, the crowd at MC is kinda laid back, but it is a nice place.

While in the washrooms at the Venitian shops over the weekend, I wondered how the heck someone with a wheelchair could use them.

sorry took me so long to get back again (our computer service is about to be terminated if they dont finx things (comcast connections STINK!) for us at least, sometimes it can take me a whole 5 days just to get a note out to anyone. Thanks for enjoying my trip! with me, felt like you were all there with drinks in hand and money in pocket$. I didnt care for Monte Carlo food (except breakfast buffet wasnt too bad the morning we ate there), I cant eat fried foods or too heavy of foods, this is a real physical issue for me because of my swallowing, the pub food was just way to greasy and heavy for my stomaache and swwllowing to handle. We opted for NY NY alot because ot its proximty and hadnt been there in so many years to eat. Had small eats at MC cafe, (didnt go down well, I think that was my Pasta dish???)I doubt anyone else would have troulbe with thier food, really its more my lack of eating ablities so once we try and I cant eat, we HAVE to go elsewere right after so I can get some grub in me. Im supposed to eat all day, YEAH right!, I had milkshake somehwere (I think it was NY NY) good calories there. The Crepes at Paris (as I always say are good) and FILLEd with Calories so thats a real treat for me.

But those MC pools are nice, I enjoyued them when they first opened and I still enjoy them now even being disabled, jsut takes more time to get confiogurations down so hubby donest SPlat! me on the cement (have this imagaine of the Hillbillys and Jethro dropping Eli May!:poke: ,hah,a,ha,ha,ha,ha.

I jsut got 4 more free nights at Stardust for all of Sept, DANG why do they toruture me this way:cry:

Fab Four half Price tickets were so easy to get, huband stood in line for about 20 minutes, as soon as they opend (they open at 11am) bingo he got tickets for 24.00$ thereabouts, so 50$ for both of us.

Need to mention " PEOPLE THAT GOT TICKETS ON LINNE Had to GO TO ALLADIN and FIRST check THAT In, THEN get Ticket", we kept haering people do this over and over and over and over, they were frustrated becaseu show was to start soon and LONG Lines of peiple arleady checked in, so they proably got bad seat FYI.

OMG I alsmost for got to tell you all:wave: hello , this was bizarre. While watching the FAB FOUR, John Lennon (guy that sings for him) was singing IMAGINE, onme of my favorites, this guy (looked like a SKINHEAD) jumps down into audiance area (about 10 feet from me) and Yells out" Hey Man what about Helter Skelter" Man, Hey man, What about Fu**in Helter Skelter, so The JHon Lennon guy" SAid something fabulous like" Yes Peace yada yada, it was all really quick acutally, but this guy was serious, massive tatoos and Im about 99% sure was Skinhead, didnt faze me, I had to laugh," ONLY IN VEGAS AT A BEATLES FACIMALY CONCERT!!!!!,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha.

Welll I need to Get some Ice cream noww, Hey Man Helter Skelterr Dudes,ha,a,hah,a its My darn Ice cream YO!!:) ,ha,ha,ha

    HUGs guys
