    My Trip Report

    Hotel: BC
Food: Toby Keith's I love this Bar

This is my first TR. I won't make it too long. The trip from Detroit to Vegas seems like forever, but nonetheless was uneventful. We arrived in Vegas at 8:30am and had no troubles at the airport with taxi lines. We did get tunneled on the way to the BC. Not knowing my way around there I didn't realize what was happening until it did. Oh well, it really isn't all that bad! Our rooms were not ready for us at the BC that early. I did however request a room that faced the flamingo casino instead of the Bellegio fountains because of compliants I have read on the board about the noise. We had no problem whatsoever with noise! Thanks guys!
We checked our bags with the bellman and off we went to start our gambling!
We first were lured in to the giant wheel of fortune game. One spin and bonus..bouns...bonus.. We got the game. It spun, we won 10,000 pennies. Wow! This is a good start. The days come and go, we play penny slots and some VP. Our favorite game of all though is Let it Ride. To make this trip report short and sweet, on the last day at the Tropicana of all places we were playing let it ride. I had my five dollars out there on all 3 places and my bonus dollar out, and started this winning frenzy with a full house. I believe it paid some $300 with the bonus. About a half hour later I was dealt 3 queens, I tuck my cards a pray for the fourth. First card dealer flips..Queen. Wow, that paid 50 to 1 on all 3 bets and a 400 bonus for having my bonus dollar up there. I think if I remember correctly I was paid 1200 total. My heart was beating out of my chest. I have never won anything like that before. We are not high rollers. So we decide to stick around for awhile and see what happens. I kid you not, a half our later, I am dealt a pair of tens. I tuck my cards under my last 5 out there on the bet line and am happy. A pair of tens is another 15 dollars, nope, the first card the dealer flips is a 10! wow my odds just went up to 3 to 1. she flips her second card and it's a 10! Oh my gosh, I just hit for another 4 of a kind! That's another 1200. Well, I hit one more time for a full house later that night before going to cash in 30 black chips from the cashier! Well, after that I pretty much called it a night with the gambling. My heart couldn't take much more, and I knew I wasn't going to get much luckier than that!
We did go see Kevin James while we were there too. I would love to hear other peoples thoughts on the show! I was soo excited to see him, and was a little disappointed with his performance(7/10). He just didn't seem like he wanted to be there much. Granted, when he got on a roll, he was really funny. But there were some definate lulls in the performance. That was our vegas trip in a nutshell. Hope I didn't bore you too much! Thanks again for all the great advise on the board. It really helped out a ton!
Oh, I did want to mention, that I was pretty impressed with my room at the BC. It was clean and comfortable. More than adequate for the average person who is just looking for a room to stay. I felt safe as the guard every night asked for our room key before entering the elevators. The bathrooms are the only thing that need a little work. The showers are old and didnt' drain real well, but other than that, it was fine. I wouldn't rant and rave about it, but for the price, location, and comfort, as long as you are not thinking resort when you book at the BC you will not be disappointed at all! 9/10 for what you pay and what you get!

Great trip report. We were there the beginning of May. Hit big at Let it Ride in The Tropicana (middle table facing the back of the show ticket counter, next to last seat). We fly out of Bishop in Flint instead of Detroit. Less hectic.
