    My Trip Report

That's not a typo! I spent 18 days in Las Vegas, plus 3 more in Death Valley and the Mojave. A sampling of some of the things I did:
    - Stayed at Wynn for 12 days.
    - Ate everything from my first corn dog to a 16 course dinner.
    - Went to half a dozen shows (e.g., KÀ, Hairspray, Bob Dylan).
    - Drove a dune buggy; drove an ATV.
    - Saw Las Vegas' very own Rollergirls.
    - Watched (and heard!) top fuel dragsters.
    - Climbed four (admittedly low) mountain peaks and one 200 foot sand dune.
    - Saw a rodeo.

It's all covered in a trip report only slightly shorter than War and Peace. However, I divided it into sections, so you can skip right to the stuff in which you're interested.

Either go to my home page http://home.comcast.net/~lgott3141/ and navigate from there, or go straight to the report at http://home.comcast.net/~lgott3141/Travel_LV_TripReport_2006_April.html.

Very nice report...had no idea there were so many trails in Red Rock. Last time I went, I only had the morning to hike around so we did 2 short trails but that's all. Next time, I'll definitely spend more time there. Probably won't do the north peak although the pictures look good. I'm used to Banff and Jasper hiking (visit there 2-3 times a year) and you haven't hiked til you go places where you fall chest high into the snow!!!

Nice job, Larry. I really enjoyed each one of your restaurant reviews. I'd really like to try Joel Robuchon for myself, but sixteen courses might be ten too many.

Sounds like a great trip. Love that you take advantage of so much of what Vegas has to offer.

Good to see a review of Alex. I'd love to eat there, I'm just not sure my tastes have matured enough to fully appreciate the experience. Joel Robuchon sounds like a phenomenal meal, as well.

    WOW, nice report.

I could probably spend the whole day at the Pinball Hall of Fame. I will have to fit that in next trip.

    Great

Thanks for this one. Wonderfully thorough and full of new ideas, like that pinball museum. That is on my list for the next trip.
