Most recent trip I stayed at Ballys but ended up spending a lot of time at the Linq. Very much enjoyed the Tag bar and generally enjoyed the casino there as well. I know the rooms are small but they look pretty stylish in the videos I've seen and wouldn't be bad for a solo traveller. I am pretty much comped anywhere but CP most days but I think I would like to try the Linq next trip. Pros and cons anyone?

I did a review of the Linq rooms. Do a search and you'll find it. But I'll say this little bit. I'm a WynnCore fan, but I can't always afford. If I'm on a tight budget and/or the room prices are absurd, then I would happily stay at The Linq. My only real complaint is the AC was loud.

I enjoyed my last stay very much. Rooms are clean, plenty of dining options close by and the casino is easy to navigate.

I would stay there again, however I would avoid the rooms with 2 double beds if at all possible. As you said, the rooms are small. The room that I was in had very little room between the beds and the walls.

Beyond that, I would stay again. Nothing amazing, but much improved with the redone rooms.

Thanks for the replies. Unless I get some killer offer from another Caesars property in the next few months, I am going to try it.

I stayed at the Linq this year and dug it. If you stay there, find the "secret bank" of elevators. It will save you a lot of waiting.

My youngest son and 2 friends just got back from Vegas. All of them needed to economize and wanted to stay in one room. They asked me to get them a cheap room on the strip, after a quick search I found the linq offers their bunk bed room. Basically it's two queen beds and a small twinsize bunk bed located above one of the queen beds. They reported to me that room was perfect! Recently remodeled, clean, and has a fun casino for the younger set. That bunk room is perfect for 3 or 4 partiers that don't care to share...

It's the lowest end but it's cheap and clean.
    Solo? Get a king bed.

Sidenote: the Flamingo's buffet is muuuch better than the last time I was there. A few years ago, it was throw away shit.

put my kids into the linq on my comp a few weeks ago. i thought the room was very nice. i keep hearing small, and it was smallish, but who is doing acrobatics in their room anyways. i love the location but am not a huge fan of the casino since it is rather small. i like playing pai gow and they only had one table going so i walked next door to harrahs and they had four tables going. i wouldn't hesitate to stay at the linq.

The Linq is awesome. I give TR almost no play and can routinely get five free nights Sunday-Thursday so that's what I'm doing next month. The rooms are clean, and the small size isn't too much of a big deal. It's one of the best deals in Vegas for us low rollers.

I like the rooms but some of them literally face a wall.

Just got back from Linq. We had to switch rooms once because the first one was right above a bar with live music. Once we moved though the next room was very roomy and had a nice king size bed. The bathrooms were modern style and very clean. I think it is a nice place to stay as long as you are not in that front building facing the space between Linq's Guy Ferras restaurant and Harras.
