This is our third trip and the first time we won't be going home on a Saturday. We are in our 40's.

Sunday we plan on renting car and going to Red Rock to do the loop and stop in at the Casino. After that we are gong to go for a dinner at the Venetian and I was looking for something entertaining but low key to do after that.

I looked at some of the smaller shows at the CET properties but nothing jumped out at me. The only thing I saw was a Piano Bar at the Paris. We plan on checking Big Elvis out on the Friday afternoon.

Is there something smaller you could recommend? A lounge singer, live music or small comedy show? Something we could sit and have a few drinks and relax? There has to be a hidden gem out there.

There's a piano bar next to lobby at Belliagio hotel..also, isn't there a lounge (live singer) inside the Aria too. But it might get crowed especially if you are looking for low key. I can't think other places yet... but I'm sure there will be other post to follow!!

Is Fat Elvis still entertaining? It seems like every time I try and see him he's not preforming because of an illness.

I guess by low key I meant that I was looking for something smaller than a ticketed venue where we could enjoy some las vegas style entertainment at a table or booth for people who aren't 20.

We have been to the Aria twice and always walk by the couple of bars on the casino floor as they don't look like they are for us.

I am just going by their website that he is still up and running. Hopefully he is when we are there.

Saw him last year and he was entertaining, hope to do it again next week! Will be looking for similar venues Barely, so if we find some will post on here! Enjoyed the Xtra lounge at PH last year and think Paris still has live music from some other sites, will check it out.....

Check into if Clint Holmes is playing at Palazzo. He puts on a great show and frankly, that show is cheap. Otherwise, Le Cabaret lounge at Paris has had some great live music, more 90's oriented.

The newish Parlor bar at Mirage has a piano player, not sure what nights they play but it's a pretty cozy place and the drinks are good.

Does anyone know if the Mandarin Bar still has live jazz on Sunday evenings? If so, may be worth a visit. The Mandarin Bar is a pretty special place regardless.

Xtra Lounge at pH and the Piano Bar at Harrah's are my recommendations. I know Paris has a live entertainment venue near the theater and there's a very nice / classy bar in the center of their casino. Thinking about those three is getting me excited for my next vegas trip, actually!

Thanks for the recommendations. Planned on stopping in at the Xtra Lounge and was looking at Gilley's as we are there during the Rodeo Finals. We have strolled through the Paris a few times but never gotten too deep into looking around. I think we will take a look at a few places in there.

There is an old school Motown group called N'Demand that plays the Le Cabaret lounge in the Paris Hotel @ 6:30 on a lot of weekends. I do not know if they include Sunday everytime they are there but they did this last Sunday (October 23rd.) Highly recommend stopping in to see them if they are playing. They have a Facebook page and a website.

I also liked the mandarin bar on Sunday nights. It's jazz night, live players, no cover I think but drinks are pricey. Maybe there's a cover later on in the night. It's up on the 23rd floor or something with nice strip views. It'd a hop skip and a step from aria.

My fav go to for a lounge act is harrahs duelling piano bar especially if the twins are playing. For some reason I can't explain, I can spend all night in there. Love their energy.

Last time we walked through Harrah's on our way back to Palazzo on a Sunday night there were dueling pianos. It was amazing and the energy in the place was fantastic. My wife and I watched for about 15 minutes from the doorway because the place was packed, but I would love to go in and take a look this coming trip (and we might).

I just realized the comment above me also mentions this. Good to know I wasn't just drunk and it really is good. :)
