As a solo guy, I'd save the money and book Flamingo.

Shock so right. Money should be spent on fun. I have stayed at Bellagio where I had a Penthouse and a Butler, beeg loser am I. I have had more fun spending money on everything Vegas, but not my room.

Flamingo would be my selection as well.
    How does Linq pricing look?

If you spend real time in the room and that's important to you, of those rooms the Cosmo Terrace is probably the top, but the $600+ premium would be hard to swallow for me.

If I was booking it I'd go PH Hip or Paris Red. It's only a couple hundie more than Flamingo and IMO either one's a step up in terms of the resort quality and the rooms are about on par.

Since you're already at Aria, why was that not an option? Or do you prefer to resort hop?

Flamingo is a dump, go with Paris. Red Rooms or Burgundy Room.

Are you doing a package deal or flight and room separate purchases?

When I go solo I go with the cheaper room so I have more money in my pocket.

Did you look at Wynn? They have a pre-pay special. Those prices are awfully steep for just a room (even in Canadian).

I'd look at Mandalay Bay. Just returned from three days solo staying/playing there and had a great time. Rates should be cheaper in December those dates.

Those prices include airfare, if I understood correctly.

I would go with the PH room myself. There is nothing about the Flamingo that appeals to me. I like the location of PH better too, mainly because I like to play at MLife Casinos, but the TR casinos that would get my money are PH, Paris and Ballys. Did you price Bally's, they have nice larger rooms for an older property.

For the $200 more I'd go PH Hip over Flamingo Go. Enjoy whichever you choose though.

I agree with FYMYAWF, the Cosmo Terrace would be my choice, if money is no object. Or if you plan to bring company to the room ;-).

But if the room is only to sleep and shower, than I would go for the cheaper deal at the better location, so with your options, for me that would be Flamingo, Paris or PH.

But as Paris and PH are only so little more expensive, I would skip Flamingo and would chose one of the other two. That way you have best of both worlds, both great resorts with nice rooms and at the most lively area on the Strip, so you can hang-out and play at other casino's too.

Then between Paris and PH, I like Paris more as a resort, it's so "Vegas!" with the theme and all. But I love the casino at PH and spend most of my time playing there. But as you have stayed at PH already twice before, I would probably go for Paris (but still play at PH lol).

Agreed all around -- and, personally, I don't find much of the flamingo that enjoyable. Though, I have yet to check out their zoo thing lol

    I ended up choosing Paris

Cosmo/Ceasars were a bit to much for a solo trip, Flamingo i love the vibe but its just so run down.

Same with PH love the vibe but hip room are just so run down and the brand new burgundy room at paris were less than 100$ more over 5 nights

So im doing 5 nights at paris and 2 at Aria should be a nice change from past 2 trips at the Flamingo

If you have a Total Rewards card, check your room rates again. December rates dropped to zero for most of the month.
