Cosmo - New Identity players club lounge coming "soon"?

Buried at the bottom of an article about a ridiculously overpriced construction project:

Wonder what bar is getting the axe? I'm guessing the one near the tables? Don't know if it has a name, but I think all of the others have had recent refurbs.

I think they have some sort of lounge today, but thought it was for platinum folks only. Or maybe someone here can clarify if there's some sort of lounge off the HL room. Wonder if this will be a replacement, or opening something up for lower tiers?

Not sure it's going to make much of a difference, but I guess a place to grab free coffee + a bottle of Fiji is something they need to have to compete

 

Queue bar already has been axed.

 

Which one was queue? Is that the one right next to the new HL room that I thought they just finished last December? Or is that the one next to the check-in counter?

 

The one by the craps tables, practically across from Chandelier.

 

Queue is still on their map for level 1. The one next to the HL is Clique. The one outside hotel-checkin is Vesper (non-gaming).

It's been confirmed from a Cosmopolitan executive that there will not be a lounge. The new area will consist of the new identity desk, bathrooms and new slot machines.

 

Well that's boring.

 

From an outsiders perspective being new to Cosmopolitan....the whole place gives me the feel of being in a lounge without a special room designated to be one. Lol

 

So $1.8m for a new identity desk + a bathroom, and $7m for a restaurant. Wow.

 

Well what would you do if you had $8.8M burning in your pocket? Haha

 

Agreed. I was there this weekend lamenting that I always liked that bar. If nothing else, the TVs there made for easy sports watching while playing in the craps pit

It's gone. They have temporary walls up in its place, well as of the first of this month.
