I think I know the answer but thought I'd check with the experts. I already have the Flamingo booked for 1/31-2/3 at a really good rate but my bestie and I were thinking of splurging this year. We meet up yearly and stayed at mirage, trop, linq, MC. Hubs and I have stayed at NYNY, EXCAL, Caesars, Flamingo, TI, Strat, all over DT so I have a good reference point on properties. BUT high end I have not explored. I can get Cromwell strip view for $770 incl tax and suckie resort fee. Cosmo terrace queen $889 total. WWYD??

Cosmo in a heartbeat. Those balconies can't be beat... And Cromwell's rooms are tiny.

I've never stayed in either, gambled in both, without a doubt I'd go Cosmo. I think CET has a long way to go to get any of their top properties up to the same quality as the other top end places on the strip.

For that price difference, Cosmo is the easy choice.

Yeah Cosmo. Heck if you like the gamble better at Cromwell, then walk there to gamble but the rooms at cosmo are much better

Definitely The Cosmopolitan. The rooms are lovely and we've always had a great experience there.

Cosmopolitan for sure. I had Cromwell comped early this year and was kind of disappointed in the room. It was very small and dark. I love gambling in the casino but don't think I would stay there again. I did like the toiletries they provide by MUK.

How much play does it take at cosmo vs a cet property to get a comped room on next trip?
