    Hello,

Has anyone had issues getting ahold of their host?

Im trying to book a trip for January, and havent spoken to him since the dialogue after his welcome email. Emailed a few times with no reply so far. Am I trying to book too far out?

What property/company? I'd give you my thoughts, but as I only have a host at V/P, it might not be the right advice if you're looking elsewhere.

Well, I can't speak from experience with PH, but you're only 3 months out, so certainly not too early. Additionally, even if you were, your host owes you a response, even a "hey, get with me in a few months". You're the customer here. I don't know what level of player you are, but unless you're asking for something really specialized, I would call the host's desk (or similar line) at PH and ask to be connected to a host. and they should be able to assist you.

nope. not looking for anything crazy. just room for me and some friends.

I did notice my "good" offers only extend into December right now.. think I should wait until the roll into Jan? This is my first year actually having a host.. so not sure how it works.

At V/P, and I've gleaned from here that it works the same way at CET, the "entry level" host, if you're a regular player and not a high-roller, is more of a marketing person. Meaning they really just extend to you the offers you otherwise get from marketing. There may be a small amount of discretion they have, but their job is more relationship building and less crunching numbers to determine comps. So that being said, if you're only offers are currently through December, then they may not be able to set you up with an offer now. They could still book your room but wouldn't have information as to what extras (tournaments, free play etc) they could offer yet. That's at least how it often works at V/P, and I believe its the same at CET.

You should still be getting responses from your host, but if you don't mind waiting until you get January offers there's no harm in it. Its safe to say you'll get something and be able to book when the time comes.

To get a room for yourself, you can login and just book it (no offers needed). If you need more than one room, enter 2 rooms and see what it gives you (never done multiple rooms). If no rooms come up AND it is not a special week, your level of play might be pretty low.

Either way, log in and see what you can get.

You can't book more than two rooms online. You need to call to get a friends and family discount. Otherwise, your second, third, fourth, etc room at the casino rate. At that point, it's better for your friends to sign-up for TR and book on their own! If you're an entry level player, your best rates are online.

I would just call the property and ask for the "host on duty". For what you are asking about they should be able to help you or provide you a solution.

Potentially, if you go often enough and take advantage of the TC bonuses you could have a low ADT, but still be Diamond. Hell, I know several people sans hosts but they're diamond. Don't be discouraged though -- your host could be on vaca as the above poster mentioned.

Some Diamonds have trouble getting comp rooms. They do too many low play days.

All comps are tied to play, not to tier level. I often trump even 7 Star players to get suites at Cherokee. All tied to amount of money you "donate" - LOL!

What sort of offers have they been sending you. Do you visit other CET casinos, or just Vegas. If only a once a year play, what sort of numbers did you rack up? What do you see as to comp rooms when you log in to Total Rewards.

I have plenty of free room offers and a couple that include $300 free play. Im just trying to get with my host because I have 6 friends coming, and would like to know options for 2rooms for our stay, and whatnot.

If you get Diamond in a single trip, that warrants host action. You'd have to at least be getting 1k TCs a day to make that happen. Was your play concentrated in pH or spread about several properties? I notice that if I don't rack up a lot of TCs in one casino and spread it over several CET properties, it screws with me. It's not as divided as mLife as my offers are still good, but I don't get host action.

I got very close to Diamond in one 4 day trip.. When To AC for a day just to finish it off. Most of my play is at PH, but I do explore the strip.
