Yes, I know there are better places to stay. We're going for the Jimmy Buffett concert on October 15 and the pre-concert pool party event is at Flamingo and we got decent rates booking months ago. It is what it is, so we're over that. It's only for 3 nights before we move to Gold Coast for 2 more nights.

Last year we were near the Habitat Elevators and they SUCKED. Slow and seemingly possessed at times. We always made sure to do the "pat down" at least twice or three times before exiting the room to ensure we had everything we could possibly need.

I know not much has happened upgrade-wise there since then although I think I read that some upgrades are in the works sometime soon-ish but not soon enough for us.

Any recommendations for which bank of elevators might be considered "best" as far as speed? And less weirdness?

I appreciate all your help in advance.

    Cheers,
    Kelly

I was there about a month ago, the elevators near the check in desk were fine, no issues and quick enough, no long waits. This was during the week, not on a weekend............I have never used the habitat elevators so I cannot make any comparisons to those.

I believe at least two of the three elevator banks have been redone as of a couple months ago. Not sure if 3rd set is complete yet or not. You can access from any of the 3 elevator banks. I have used all 3 depending on where I wanted to land when I got to main floor. It's easier walking down a hallway upstairs than fighting foot traffic on the main floor.

Habitat elevators are great for Habitat, buffet, Linq etc.
Lobby elevators for casino, exit to Strip.
Spa elevators for monorail, valet or easy walk to north strip (cut out back by valet, cross behind Cromwell at street level to Ballys).
