    hey guys,
Just wondering has anyone received the mlife/MGM 4th quarter hotel/freeplay offers yet?
I have some offers but looks more likely "corporate" offers... typical 3 days hotel rooms with some F/B credits
I guess I'm looking for more specific hotel offers like Aria, Mirge no bellagio etc... with some free play dollar amount
Please let me know if you guys gotten them or not...so I know if others has em..I know I'm not really getting any and don't wanna have hope up

Following. Booked for Super Bowl BUT have zero offers at the moment. Hoping to see something in the next month. I believe other board members said new offers should be coming in early November.

I have one from MGM Grand that runs through Feb 28. I think you have to have done a certain percentage of your play (or at least SOME play recently) at a property to get property-specific offers. I used to get offers from Aria but they stopped after I hadn't played there in a year.

Hold tight Drew! The last two years my BEST Mlife offers came in early November.

Yes, I have a few "through Feb 28th" offers, but they're so-so, and I will not be booking those.

I save all my email offers, and last year, I had an OK one at Aria come in late October, but Aria then sent a GREAT one on November 12th. (Tricky, tricky, as sometimes when I book, I no longer get offers for that period, so had I booked October, I might have missed November's, which WAS for a suite)

The year prior to that, again, the best offers came to me in November as well.

I've even had some super strong Mlife offers come in December (other hotels). The one thing that connects my strongest offers of the year? They ALL say through may 31st, so the end date is what I watch. When I see through Feb or March, I wait. May 31 is my golden ticket. :)

If you don't have one towards the end of November for Aria, then worry....but personally from track record, I'm not booking any till I see my offer that says "through May 31st." This is ALWAYS my best offer of the year, and again, on the last two years, it came out the first or second week of November!

(Not that booking now is bad if you have Feb 28th and it's strong...the ones I have now just aren't strong enough for me to book.)

Hello there, Mr chuck the wise one lol....thanks always for sharing... welll I had 3 trips so far this year (I should do Vegas trip report)

One end of July, 2nd August and 3rd September and I played all 'solid" baracrrat hours 3casinos (bellagio, mirage and aria) I guess it might be little too early for me to expecting offers but will see. Last 3 trips cost me -$10,000 at those 3 casinos yup it wasn't that good. So I figure they would love me have sucker like me back lol. Matter fact, I'm waiting marker statement from Aria from last trip which I owe lol

HI Drew, remember with MLIFE half is speculation. Maybe these offers won't say May 31, or won't come in November....I can't absolutely guarantee it, but this is what I am going off.

Trust me, I'll be crying a river with you if my estimate is off, but from past experience, "through May 31" is my target :)

Drew, remember they only care about your theoretical loss. Sometimes they will take a look at your actual loss for a specific trip on the back-end, but really it's average bet and time at tables. If you have a host and want to book, just reach out to you host. If your play warrants an offer down the road on the MLife site, it warrants an offer via a call.

I have received an offer from MGM for 3 nights with free play and food credit. Still hoping for another sweet offer from Aria.

Here in Midwest, we receive weekly FREEBET it's fixed dollar amount we get once a week kiosk prints out paper which we can use it to making bets but as ONLY ONE BET dollar amount ranges $25 to $$1000 I usually get $500 to $700 Then I bet on bacarat so $500 paper bet if I win they give me $500 in chips.. I just don't know how Vegas "free play" work?

Well, I don;t know exactly how MLife works as respect to the frequency and timing.

From what I observe, I expect the following:

They seem to work in a quarterly way, and fairly much in advance
Your most recent trip that falls within the consideration period is the heaviest factor
    Actual loss matters not much.

I have a thought about actual loss. Jim Murren, the CEO of MGM is on the record as saying they expect gambler to lose 20% of the amount wagered, and I find that to be true on an average trip. If I decide to go on tilt and lose a couple thousand more on a given trip than usual, I don';t really expect the casino to treat me differently.

I would add that, if I lose more than 20% in a given trip, depending on how much I had in play, it shows the casino how much I am willing to risk and lose. I imagine that factors into offer. At least I would think at this point, it should - it should be very easy calculation on the part of the casino.

I dont know if that answers your question or not.

This is a really, really cool insight Chuck, thank you.

"Total amount wagered" can be coin-in, and I can run my coin-in numbers, take 20% of this, and that should show my roughly what they expect my hard loss to be.

I.E. if I have 35k coin-in, that would be an expected hard loss of roughly 7k. If it's more than that, I didn't do so hot, the further under 7k, the better I did making my money last, in comparison with their expectations of my loss.

I really, really like this tidbit an will be playing with it, thank you!

I don't mean to cast aspersions on anybody's TRs we all love the big hits and I've had a few, but when I saw that (and Gary Loveman from CET has said similar), it really rang a bell with respect to loss %, because it seems sometimes there's a batlle between slots and tables.

And I never found a real difference in loss % between slots and tables, even though the house edge is way bigger on slots. And I played a lot of tables.

Chip porn is fine. Just don't be fooled. Table players lose the same 20%. At a medium level, they don;t get anywhere near as good comps. I wish it wasn't so.

From personal experience my offers and theo are fairly consistent within an expected margin.
Good run on dice/cards and theo goes up based on longer times at the tables and pressed bets during the sessions.

The two times over the last three years that my offers increased was after substantial(to me not ,everybody) actual loss.
Both trips I had pretty low theo but got my nuts kicked in at the tables .
The most recent was August 2015 when my trip theo was about 9K but lost close to 30K.
Yes it can and did happen.
Not one winning session in 4 days.
Fortunately I was unable to find a rope and low hanging branch.:D
My offers on RC , level of suites and event invitations everywhere in MLife went up.
    Actual loss does factor in.
