Vegas to Glendale Arizona...

I'm thinking of going to catch the Seahawks and Cardinals game on October 23... Plan to leave from Vegas and catch game then drive back... Is this doable or is it crazy to try? From what I see it is about a 4hr drive one way... Any advice? Thanks!

 

I did it for the Bears game that was the Dennis Green game...piece of cake.
Park north of the stadium and dont get on the expressway to leave back towards Vegas.
Use 91st Ave

 

Plan on a solid 4 1/2 hours from The Strip to the Stadium. And I usually drive 6 to 8 miles over the posteds.

Believe it or not, there are several stretches on Rt. 93 that are only one lane in each direction.

At Wickenburg, you will then get on Rt. 60.

After about 28 miles, be absolutely certain to get off 60 and head south on the new Rt. 303 Bob Stump Freeway.

DO NOT TAKE 60 ALL THE WAY TO RT 101.

Then get off 303 and head east to the Stadium on either Northern or Glendale.

IxAccDnf is absolutely correct on staying off 101 on the way out as well.

Use 91st and pick either Northern, Glendale, or Olive to head west back to 303.
