Did anybody watch the Pilot episode? What did you think? I thought Lucas Till did a pretty good job.
I've only seen him in the X-Men movies. And it was good to see George Eads back on TV after
all those years of playing Nick Stokes on CSI.

I haven't seen it yet. I'd like to.
I need MacGyver to come by and fix my DirecTv. I've been without for three days!
(On the other hand, it's been like the best three days of my life!)

I keep CBS on most nights and it was ok enough for me running in the background.I'm always on the internet for message boards etc..Really in the past years nothing has changed except switching to NBC to watch Vegas (The Montecito one) or to NFL network for Thursday night football..Still think there's too much crime and violence on tv now tho..just my op.

George Eads. I did not know this. HOT. Funny story, or not. Maybe 6 yrs ago. 5:30 a.m., walking {loosely speaking}, through Caesars. There was a huge cluster of people with a lot of lights and activity. So me seez Mr. Stokes filming CSI. I yelz luv the show. He might of had a look or word, Security. They were nice 2 me.

I didn't know they had done a update version. I just watched the trailer online. Certainly a different version from the original.

I thought it was a little corny with their little subtitles like "paper clip" to indicate what mac was going to use to get out of something. Guess they think that some of us don't get how things can be used. I don't remember the subtitles in the original MacGyver. I thought it was obvious when they show the paper clip that he was going to use it to open the cuffs.

I didnt care for it. I saw the surprise at end of ep1 a mile away. Anyway, the main actor looks too young to have so many skills.
I didnt care for the original either.

You could never top the original. It's like no matter many Oceans they put out, there can only be the Rat Pack original and nothing else.

I've watched most of the shows so far and their reality is a bit off, i.e. his "McGivering" is occasionally very bogus.

It started here in the UK last night on Sky. I watched it and I thought it was ok for a reboot. Nowhere near the original of course but remakes never stick to the original idea. I will give it a chance and see how it goes on.

A little hokey is being really nice. It's pretty bad. Only good thing is Tristin Mays.
