Here's a list of some of the symptoms of "Vegas-On-The-Brain."

*You give Farmer Jones a "heads-up" that if he decides to tunnel you on the hayride again this year he should at least be aware that you have his number and you will not hesitate to report his ass to the authorities!

*You swear you hear a clicking sound when the greeter hands you a bulletin/program at a church or show.

*You religiously flock to your sprinkler every 20 minutes to watch the fountain show, then post video to social media.

*At least one set of stairs in your home seems to be out-of-service at all times.

*You wander around your home looking for Secret Pizza.

*You still find yourself long-hauling yourself to work.

Please feel free to add additional symptoms below. We are all in this together!

I walk down the candy aisle at the supermarket to look for the different colors of M&Ms.
Likewise, I walk down the soft drinks aisle at the supermarket to look for Coca Colas from different countries.
When I sit at a bar, I'm looking for the light that tells the bartender I can get a free drink.
I wonder if the coffeemaker is clean, but I then realize I have never peed in the reservoir.
I try not to move anything in the refrigerator because I don't want to get charged.
I scan the channels on my TV looking for one that advertises all the Vegas activities and restaurants.

    - You order food and realize you can't say "charge it to my room."

    - You realize asking for a nice cabernet at noon is no longer kosher.

    - You realize if you want to walk into your bedroom with a beautifully made bed, you have to suck it up and do it yourself.

    - You realize if you hear Brittany Spears, it doesn't mean you won a bonus round on slots. (Bad Cosmo, that game is addicting!)

    - You find yourself trolling VMB way too much, vicariously living Vegas through others, until your next trip is due!

Every time you sit a bar, you desperately look for the VP machine.

Imaginary, hopelessly cheerful Aussies, ask you for directions.

When your girlfriend says "Let's go downtown tonight" and the first thing that comes to mind is "Hell yeah, they've got 3:2 BJ all over the place".

My neighborhood is in the pattern for my local airport. Every time I hear a plane fly over, I think I could be flying to Vegas.

Keep shouting "cocktails" every time my admin walks by my office until my boss has to have a "talk" with me

Every time you get a $100 bill you 'rathole' it even when no future trip is planned

. You get in your car and at the gps voice command prompt you say 'home' and it takes you to the airport.
. When you don't hear from your best friend for a few days, you 'know' she went to Vegas without inviting you along.
. Your tax refund arrives and you immediately calculate how many extra days you can stay n Vegas.
. You've organized your clothes closet into two sections - 'Vegas' and 'Other'.

Met some friends for drinks the other day and one of the women asked me if I wanted to go to a party. Huh......I know your husband.......I thought you were a nurse ?

It was like a real party, with a bonfire and music and potato salad.......

#3 & 4 - yes! I got rid of a bunch of "Vegas-only" clothes, but it's still a separate area in the closet!

*raises hand* This one is me for sure. My Vegas section is a lot smaller than it used to be. When I went to grab some shirts from there to pack, some of it was dusty.

Time to dust off those clothes and get packed Sonya. Can't wait to read your TR, make it a live one - you'll enjoy doing it. Have a great time!!!!!!

Oh, I'm packed. I'm apparently in Idaho to do computer tech for mom & dad for a few days, but will be heading to Vegas soooo very soon!!! :woohoo:

I don't know if I have the stamina to do a Live TR, but I may post some blurbs and updates but save the full story (or at least what I can share) for when I get home. Plus, the idea of a vacation is to spend less time on VMB, not more. :wink2:

Studying VMB as if my life depends on it, reading and reading again each TR, checking out the $20 section, food reviews, et al.....generally getting Vegased up and ready to go! Oh and falling asleep dreaming of the first walk into NYNY on my arrival, seeing the slots, grabbing a brew and getting this thing started.....can't wait!

    - Reading responses to this thread and agreeing to all of them!
    - last thought before I fall asleep is running through my "to do list" for my next trip.
    - first thought when the alarm goes off in the morning "one less 'sleep' until travel day!"

Seeing the bus go by that takes me to the airport for a trip and saying, with a wry smile, "soon".

When I start singing Viva Las Vegas (yes...I know All the words of that song) in the shower and in the car.
In a very deep Elvis Presley voice.
