Wish they would open up an In n Out downtown. That would be great for me and I know it would be busy, they probably will take away a lot of customers from the other downtown places.

You think the line for White Castle was long when they opened..........
The strip location should ease the lines at the Tropicana joint!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this place the same as the East Coast 5 Guys?

    So, it's like a fancy McDonald's.

That's probably the best way I'd describe their food, except with fresher ingredients.
I'd rather pay a little more for lunch at In N Out than pay less and eat at McDonald's though.

LOL, no, 5 Guys is a bit fancier, and (LOL) they do not quote scripture. :)

Five Guys is for people who don't like having money or food. Whereas, In-n-Out is delicious.

Who quotes Scripture in 5 Guys? You must be thinking of Chik-Fil-A.

If you want to pay $15 for a burger fries and drink then 5 guys is your place, my love affair with gourmet burgers is over due to ridiculous pricing

And what do you pay at In-and-Out?

My original question was about how each compares to the other. 5 Guys has high quality ingredients, lots of fresh toppings, the fries are second to none and the portions are huge, IMHO. I'm on a pension and that might be my only meal of the day except for a bowl of cereal, so I think it is great deal and if it costs a few bucks more, so be it, I only eat out once a week and it works for me.

I can't understand the venomous hatred I and O loyalists have for others who don't share their idolatry of a trumped up Burger King. Drive straight from the airport to I and O? That's just fucking insane.

I asked a simple question and get my character assasinated by a pack of zombie pawns of I and O.

My other favorite burger place is Red Robin, so prepare your assaults on that.

I've never eaten at I and O, they don't have them around here, and based on the fanaticism, I never will. At the Linq, why would I, when I could walk a hundred feet and be at a Tilted Kilt or whatever the fuck it's called. That's the vacation that I have squeezed my pennies to be on and I'm not going to waste my gambling funds on something that is not going to be worth it.

In fact, now that you got me worked up, I will make a special effort to go in there on my next trip and ask for a cup of ice just so I could say I've been there.

Everyone has a right to their own opinions, but let's keep this civil. Not everyone like In N out, or Five Guys, or Burger King, Taco Bell, whatever.

But, if we start flinging burger patties and french fries, I'm gonna thumps some heads. :feedme:

If In and out is open next month and the line is reasonable, I'll try it. Hard to believe a fancy McDonald's has such fanaticism. I'll keep an open mind.

Pretty wise old adage out there: If you've not tried something, you have no basis to comment on it.

I always love the "worth it" battles. And these burger things always get overheated. Folks just need to freakin' chill on this shit. Big bold world out there. It's still America, no one is being forced to eat something/play somewhere/stay somewhere/do something that isn't in his or her wheelhouse. Proper value? That's really solely relevant to the one paying the freight and receiving the service.
