Experience vs. Youth (liveish)

It has finally arrived! Sitting here in the plane wondering who in the hell books a flight for 6am? I'm sure it will be worth it once I am on the ground.



This is a trip of a 25 year Vegas veteran (me) and TWO 21 year old Vegas virgins. We will see how long they can keep up with this old dog.

We will be downtown after they arrive this afternoon so say hi if you see us. We won't be hard to miss, there will be 16 of us wearing these.... For the record, this color does not go well with my eyes or my wardrobe.

Half way there. Bumpy but otherwise great flight. First class is the only way for me from now on. Mood lighting and everything.

Boarding now in Denver and should be in Vegas before long. I'm sure the rest of the gang is still tossing in bed unable to sleep, cursing that I am 900 miles ahead of them.

 

Ok sitting here and there is some olympia? event this weekend. If you follow that the guy that holds the "stongest man" title is two rows behind me. Only know that because there are several of these athletes shaking his hand as they go by. By the way, he is HUGE!

 

6 am is the way to go (out of Toronto). With the time difference and everything, by the time I get to Vegas after and 4 1/2 hour flight, I still have the whole day.

I was in vegas for one event in 97 (or 98 maybe?) and it was nuts.

I never did find that secret place, I get sidetracked by blinky things. Friends are in the air and was starting to feel a little light in the wallet when I found this...

Found the pizza and just in time, I told my friends I couldnt feel my feet anymore. They just landed so I am headed to meet them at Monte Carlo. I have over 4000 points on my card and just did a check of cash and I am up $600. Going to say I have done ok. Brain is to fuzzy to do the math so you sober people an figure it out for me. If you are still hanging in there, i am sure its going to get better from here so stay tuned. If you are downtown tonight, watch for a herd of pink!
