Casino player communication

I keep getting emails from a person at Mandalay Bay with events like Billy Idol as the subject and to click here.
It has " Casino Player Communications " listed as the area of MB it is coming from.

Is it legit? Anyone ever use casino player communications before?

I have my September and November trips booked but I need New Years and February so I was thinking I may give it a whirl?

 

I get emails from our host at MB including one recently with Billy Idol event.

Hard to say if yours is legit or not. My emails from Mlife always have my name and Mlife number included.

 

It has my name and Mlife number on it (never looked at that until now) but I don't have a host?
I'm not sure if its acceptable to post their name here, but now I'm even more curious about these emails, I'm always up for a good deal.

 

Mandalay has marketing people that are not hosts. They book rooms and comps for people that are not quite at the host level. This is probably who has contacted you.

 

Thanks Elf, I appreciate the info. I guess I'll give them a call and see what they can offer, and compare to what my current offers are.

 

I used to get those emails from some of the MGM properties. They usually had a host's name and picture on them, but they were obviously boilerplate offers.

You fell over a threshold where you qualified for the offer but haven't been assigned a specific host.

I get these all the time - they are from a "Marketing Representative - Casino Marketing" at Mandalay Bay.

Looks legit to me.

 

Just an update: I sent an email inquiring about 5 nights at MB for New Years----reply was: I can comp you the 2 most expensive night and give you platinum rates on the others, we can reevaluate you play on departure. I took the offer, we will see what happens.
