Eating at Sinatra and Cut for our two "nice" dinners in November, and was wondering what would be your rec for the next tier down....something good but not over the top. Looking for something one night when we are out and about on the strip and can just stop in on a whim. Thanks.

Have a Hotel/ area of Strip preference?
Regardless, I'd "second" UKFanatic's Julian Serrano recommendation at the Aria. Great Tapas and sangria!

I'd also suggest Mon Ami Gabi at Paris, and Javier's at Aria

I am planning on hitting Mon Ami Gabi and Julian Serrano on my trip. I've been to MAG a few times before and love the patio dining. I've been wanting to try Julian Serrano for awhile. It's time. :)

Mastro's Oceans Club at Crystals. They have a really good seafood selection as well as steaks. We took friends a few years ago, the wife and daughter were picky eaters and said the chicken was delicious. The lobster mashed potatoes can put you in a food coma.

Glad they could find something! Always seems such a shame when folks don't enjoy the wonderful diversity of food. My usual posse is as omnivoric as moi ... 'cept for one guy. But wherever we go he always can find some cut of overcooked beef and a spud.

But is Milos really a tier down from Cut and Sinatra? I have only been there for lunch (and the food was fantastic every time). But I always seemed its more formal at dinner time

Always love Spago, never had anything there I didn't like. Mon Ami Gabi also good with reasonable prices.

These weren't people we normally would travel with. Of course we found out AFTER dinner that they would have been happier at Denny's. My regular Vegas buddies sound more like your posse.
