I will finally be in Vegas on a Sunday in November, and would like to spend the afternoon watching and betting on my team and possibly having something to eat. I understand Legassi's is good? I'd ideally like to find a place that won't be jam packed. I reckon ideally it would have a booth with a TV to watch said game. Or are all games up on a huge multi-screen display? Any ideas?

I love Legassi's but for me the best sports book center strip is the Mirage. I have spent two trips there on NFL Sundays and am spending Sunday October 2nd there as well. Great large room, many places to eat nearby (California pizza kitchen and Carnegie Deli) and plenty of room.

I've got to second the above post about the Mirage sports book. Great place to watch a game; comfortable seating and food options close by. When I was in LV in July I noticed that most, if not all, MLife sports books have gone non-smoking. If I could pick only one place to watch a game it would hands down be at the Mirage.

That will be perfect as I will be at The Big Smoke at the Mirage in the am. Thanks!

I am in full agreement with the above...except it is so damn hard to get a seat!

I have been plotting for weeks where the perfect place to watch the games - a balance of good viewing & easy access...now that I am writing this it seems I am chasing a unicorn!

I will be in Vegas 3 Sundays in Oct/Nov and plan to visit books (Mirage, MB & Harrahs and some off strip....Westgate for sure) but also mix in some bars (Blondies, TAP and Beerpark). Hopefully after these weeks I will have it figured out for Super Bowl which will be the next time I would be in town.

    Good luck in your search.

Lagassis has always been good to us. We have watched countless sports events there and the food is great! Make sure you arrange this early as it can be hard to get a good spot on late notice. Kinda pricey but worth the experience.

Just kidding, however I did make that mistake once for a Monday night. Solo low budget trip.....dumb dumb dumb.

I do enjoy the Mirage FWIW.

Have fun and good luck

you'll be dealing with a lot of 'minimum spends' if you want to reserve decent seats and places up and down the strip.
Legasse's Stadium (sp??) is $100 per person per game block to reserve a couch seat and they seem to have to be reserved a while in advance.

we managed to snag a couch spot at Umami Burger at SLS for week 1 for $50 minimum per person.
its a little (or a lot) out of the way, but its good value and the sports book is right there.
