I have been a Vegas goer for over twenty years...Ever since my first stay I still experience
the thrill of being on the strip. What I mean is this...My energy level is at it's highest! I can endure
the long days filled with miles of walking, hours of video poker, gallons of beer! I've wondered why
I am so much stronger while in Vegas, than anywhere else on earth. I have enormous physical energy,
and spirit time after time in Vegas. My Doctor doesn't have an answer to this. I act like a child at times, ie. dancing in the casino by myself...just
being uninhibited and goofy. This is not me anywhere else!
Does anyone else feel so much more energized only in Vegas? It's like I have a third lung while I'm there!

Oh do I ever understand! I am the same, can stay up forever, walk forever, drink more than normal, eat less, gamble forever! Who knows why? I just know I love it and wish and wish I could just be there everyday for the rest of my life! Hahaha

There is caffeine added to the water as it is drawn from Lake Mead. The casinos mist dopamine in the AC systems, and cover the scent with strong perfume. All the toilet paper has dried, concentrated epinephrine in it, which is absorbed rectally at least once daily. And all the flashing video screens throughout Las Vegas are peppered with subliminal messages to psyche you into an uninhibited gambling/drinking/eating/partying/skanking FRENZY! ENJOY!!!

I feel the same, except when it comes to drinking, I get as drunk and as fast as anywhere else in the world. The good thing is though, a hangover in Vegas is easier to get over, than anywhere else in the world too.

It's a wonder how much energy I have in Vegas--when my kids are still in Wisconsin!

I get an opposite but also nice effect; as soon as I roll out of the airport and see the strip skyline from the cab/limo I just get a wave of feeling relaxed and groovy. I know I'm about to have four/five great days of fun and decadence that breaks me out of the rut I'm in at home. The drivers generally don't even have to ask me the usual "are you here for business or pleasure?" question, they can see from my ear to ear grin that it's a play trip.

Vegas has always has an effect on me. Driving from LA to Vegas is part of the fun. As soon as i pass Barstow, COMP FM Las Vegas with Carlota would be clear all the way to Vegas.

Vegas is a huge nuclear reactor and everyone there is plugged in- like we're a bunch of rechargeable batteries.
It's very strange... While I go non-stop and have more energy than any other time of my normal life, I'm also less-stressed. Actually totally relaxed.
The sights, the sounds, the smells, the lights, the people- just an unending source of stimuli.
You would think we would all be exhausted when finishing a trip. But nope, I'm ready to book my next trip before I leave my current one.

100% how I feel while in Vegas as well.

I personally think it's the removal of all strssses/timelines/obligations of the real world.

You literally do what you want, when you want.

Due to this, I too always feel almost super human in Vegas, and I bet that's why so many of us on this board are Vegas junkies!
