LOL, he didn't care much for Rollin' Smoke, did he? :) Never been there, but this is the first time I've heard anyone pan it.

We've been to the original Rollin Smoke a couple of times and really loved it. Both times were for lunch and it was difficult to find a place to sit. There were several on duty firemen and policemen there each time we went. Just don't expect anything fancy or gourmet and you'll be ok. You might want a damp cloth to wipe off your table, as the sauce gets really sticky and I don't know how often they clean it up. We will definitely be back.

Curtas can be a real a&*^hole, but his reviews are fun to read, even though I don't always agree with him.

Well, he was talking about the spin off near Pawn Stars. It seems more like a bar than a restaurant and I think they offer mostly sandwiches but I've never seen the actual menu for that location.

    The original restaurant is great.

Actually, I do respect a critic who has the nerve to honestly pan a place. Too many fawning reviews are likely shills and I always kinda look out for those.
