Just saw on Cosmos facebook they have renovated the 1st floor of the chandelier bar. Does anyone know if it was converted to the new drink ticket system? Will be there in a week and hoping not, thanks!

I just shared that photo on our facebook page too. I love hanging out there and having a drink with friends.

Can I post a facebook photo here? Let's see. :)

I don't know if this helps, but as of my last trip in April there was no ticket system at chandelier bar.

Was there in June when it was boarded up. Luckily the 2nd level was still open. Hoped they weren't going to ruin it.

Can't tell from the photo...what did they do? Just make it bigger?

The chairs look nicer. But we usually spend time on 1.5 so not sure what other changes there are.

Before the renovation, did they give comp'd drinks at the video poker machines? i know wynn doesn't at most bars, so i figured something upscale like this doesnt.

Wynncore is just about the only place that doesn't comp VP players on the bar tops.

So you get first drink free with $20 in and max bet.

The machine spits out a ticket for every drink after that.

How you earn us continous play. I did a test run took about 18 or so minutes.

Bartender said if you take breaks in play the clock starts over.

Currently at bond bar at cosmo.

$1 players don't earn faster than quarters.

So as a $1 player,if I go through $100 in 15 minutes,I'm waiting for the clock at the same rate as a quarter player who may have only fed $20 or $40 into the game?
Does not seem to make sense.

From all reports I read on it...yes.

It is tied to consistent play on the machine not coin in. I believe I read here of a husband and wife playing at some time and the .25 payer got ticket first.

Again this is ancidotal from what I read, spoke with a bartender about and tested on my own.

are there any other Bar Top VP at the Cosmo without tickets vouchers ? I love the top shelf booze but that can get pricey I may have to do hit and runs between Bond and Chandelier before my bankroll get depleted

Queue [i think that is the name] that is near the craps pit, but vital vegas said that is closing Sept 4th. I assume when it reopens it will have vouchers.

Also tring said sports book bar did not do vouchers.

Vouchers don't bother me too much. When I play bartop I play, as I do on the floor. I will just be more conscious to look at my phone or not play after I get a ticket printed out.

As long as they still comp the top shelf custom cocktails I am good

Also Vital Vegas reported on Twitter that the bartenders have the ability to override the system. If so, that's a good system. Bartenders can fallback on the ticket system for people trying to game the system for free drinks and override if people are actually playing.

I love this bar!! I get a drink called the Oranje Crusha each and every visit, minus my last one in May. The bartender assured me it was NEVER on the menu. It was taken off the menu 3ish years ago but I've never had a problem ordering one. This bartender "opened the bar" and "the drink never existed here"...WRONG.
