Counting the days till Super Bowl Weekend 2017. Hopefully some good offers for parties will come in. Went to Flamingo's party last year and had a great time. They put on a great event.

With the season starting very soon, the Super bowl will be here before we know it!!!

Anyone have stories from last year of good times/parties in Vegas?

Any big wins on obscure prop bets?

Finally.....the SB chatter has begun!! I live for this weekend - 2017 will be my 15th straight year. Never have been to a Casino/Hotel hosted "Big Game" party, our group(5-6 of us) always gets a 2-3 bedroom suite and we have an in-room party(Usually a group if about 15-20 total roaming Vegas that all get together Sunday). Would like to try a Big Game Party sometime, heard they are a blast as well. Of course some better than others.

I'll be there Feb. 2-6. 20th year with about 8 friends.
Comp at Harrah's. VIP party at Paris last year, hope the same this year.
I advise everyone to book rooms yesterday. I got my comp rooms 40 days ago. I look on CET web site now and rooms would cost me $400.
We also golf every year during SB. Little cool, but OK.
I'll also be in LV for opening weekend. Love the football season.

I agree on the room booking. It seems to get booked up earlier and earlier every year.

Looked to get comp room at the D, but would only do weekday comps. Been looking at new hotels to try out booked Aliante for the weekend at a decent price. We do Vegas the last 5 years and enjoy watching the game at the conference rooms at South Point. Made money the year Wilson threw the interception against the Pats! Also thought I won my bet Lebron points (30) vs San Fran points when Baltimore stopped them on fourth down. When they took the safety, I lost my bet! Gotta love the Super Bowl!!!

What kind of play/coin-in needed to ask your host for invite to a "Big Game" party? Heard they are a ton of fun! I guess I can always ask and just be prepared for them to say no.

I was there for 50th SB, rooting on my DENVER BRONCOS!
I stayed at GC, with VIP party tickets.
    What fun!
Will try again for the next! Maybe it will be the Packers this time!

Really depends on where you are playing. Some of the bigger properties have multiple parties for different level players

Thanks for the info. Staying at MGM. Maybe could get tickets to one of their lower tier parties. I hear rumors of players coming into that hotel with 7 figure bank rolls for Super Bowl weekend...we are not one of those players. Lol

Those aren't rumors! NYE and the first weekend of MM bring larger crowds to Vegas, but SB weekend is the biggest gambling weekend of the year. All the high rollers come in

I managed 190K coin-in in a little less than 4 days/ all slots. Will my host laugh me off the phone asking for Super Bowl party invites? Also would love to meet some fellow VMBs while out there for Super Bowl. Anyone staying at MGM?

Our group is looking to do just this. Any recommendations as to where on the strip to book this kind of suite? And approximate cost? Or are these only available for the high rollers?

I got an invite to the MGM Grand party at the David Copperfield theater 2 years ago (NE - SEA) averaging 1/10th that amount of coin in.

Stayed in 2-3 Room suites everywhere from Gold Coast to Caesars. All have their own amenities that make them standout, of course the hotel itself adds to the glitz and glam of Vegas.
Not just for high rollers, however look to pay if not a High Roller. Cost can be anywhere between free and upwards of $20k for the weekend depending of course on the hotel/casino.

Excal, Luxor, NY NY and even MGM are about $100 right now with the former being as low as $80 Superbowl weekend.

    Elort,

With that kind of coin-in, you should easily get some invites. Host definitely will not laugh. Just ask him/her if you qualify for any Big Game parties...

I am not well-versed on MLife qualification levels, but for Caesars properties, usually 15K coin in a day will get you invites to the lower tier parties (Rio, Flamingo, etc). The higher tier parties (Caesars, Paris, PH) require substantially more. I know that Flamingo has two tiers of parties. One was in a huge conference room with about 700 people with a giant movie theater type screen, with betting stations right outside the door, to the lower tier party (which we were in) was a much smaller room with about 300 people in it with large TVs all around the perimeter. No betting stations were near our party. The buffet at our party was more than adequate. They even brought out a ice cream cart in the 4th quarter with several types of ice cream novelties. The bartenders at our party were great and each table has its own server so that you will get your drinks refilled without having to get up. I will post photos from last years party in a reply from my phone....

Have our flight booked since Virgin had a sale $59 each way from Dallas, now waiting for comp offers from The Orleans. We also go to the South Point party every year and have a great time.
