Edit: Happy wife (gf) happy life. We're going with Bouchon vs the other 2 which is in a different league. Maybe we'll hit up hashhash after a night of drinking since it's 24/7. But the NEW question is Country Club vs Bouchon. Which would you guys recommend? Cheers!!!!

    Hi all,

Pretty straight forward question. One day for a good brunch at a restaurant. Other days we have comped Wynn Buffet lunch so might as well use it (even though we don't like buffets). Which one should we indulge in? Also,Is there one I'm missing (North end of the strip)?

Me: I like simple breakfast. Put me at a diner and I can enjoy an omelette with some potatoes and call it a meal.
GF: Likes brunch food but not a big fan of diners.

Yes, it is worth the visit. Don't forget to check out the lounge side if you are there. HUGE portions is so true.

We couldn't finish our meal (big surprise) took our muffins and ate them on the plane on the flight home. :feedme:

Yes, It was one of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had... Alarming is the exact best description for the size of the portions.
It can feed at least 2 adults.

Skip HHaGG. Huge waste of time and digestive work. Country Club vs Bouchon is a toughie! We love both. But based on the full bar at Country Club and the live jazz, Wynn gets the nod. Barely.

Bouchon is one of the best breakfasts anywhere. The pastry basket is incredible. Atmosphere is top knotch.

I like hash-house but it's very different than Bouchon and Peppermill.

All three are places people should try. Bouchon is the priciest and most "interesting".

Peppermill has a cool neon vibe.

Bouchon without a doubt. Your wife has excellent taste. Tableau is also worth a try, I think its inside the Encore.

Bouchon - to not only make the gf happy but a wonderful place to dine. Next trip, try the others you mentioned - all worth a try at least once..HHAGG was not our cup of tea - huge portions thrown onto a plate were a turnoff.

If you must go to HH, just stop by and take pictures of the food on someone else's plate and then head to Peppermill. HH is known for volume not quality...overhyped and overpriced.

Peppermill isn't a place where I would go to brunch but its definite somewhere I would go if I really wanted to strap on the ol' feedbag if I was in the area and hungry. I also make it a point to stop into the lounge, in the back part of the property, at least once per trip for a drink. Its kitschy Las Vegas at its most extreme.
