    hi all,

I am wondering which of the following room you would select on a comp for four nights:

    Planet Hollywood Hip Room
    Flamingo Go Room
    Linq Deluxe Room

Doing this as a solo trip and pool is not a factor

Would be good to know what the other factors are for you, but I would recommend PH first, then Linq, with Flamingo in dead last due to cleanliness problems.

PH would likely be a better option if you're looking for the opposite sex. The Linq has the TAG bar that many on here seem to recommend.

Planet Hollywood first, the others tied for third. We love PH and the rooms are nice it just has a nice vibe whether for the younger crowd or for my wife and myself late 50's. Just a lot of fun...........Rick

Thanks for the replies. Sorry should have said 42 yr old male and good drink selections are a must. The last ten years I have stayed almost exclusively downtown but I tend to like the strip when I am solo

I would go with PH. It is my wife's favorite casino to play at and we both enjoy the vibe of the casino floor.

I will be the voice of dissent on this one - the elevators can be a bummer depending on the tower at Flamingo BUT if he was asking us to rate the rooms, the GO room is definitely the best of those 3 comped rooms. The Hip room maybe tied with Linq. The Hip room is getting dated and has barely any window. I have always had a good experience in the GO room. I love the TV in the mirror in the bathroom - the shower with the body sprayer, the electronic curtain/sheer. GO room yes 100%, but the FAB room - never.

The Linq room is nice enough but they are tiny - so I would probably put that in a tie with the Hip room being bigger but more dated. If you love spending time at Cosmo or south, PHo is a no brainer due to location- but if you love that center stretch by Flamingo (to easily hit Linq, Cromwell, and Harrahs, are planning on doing a little pool party action...I would lean Flamingo.

The best thing about the Hip room over the GO room is that when you wake up you're in PH and not Flamingo.

Damn, should I switch from Linq to pH? I got a heavily discounted King Suite for less than a Hip Room at pH. I love pH a ton but at the end of the day, I feel like the rooms at Linq are cleaner and more modern, making them more worthwhile. I do agree that pH is a much more fun casino.

PH is renovating their rooms right now. The renovated Hip rooms are now the Ultra Hip and they are super nice.

I love spending time at the TAG bar for the crafty beers but I really enjoy having my Bailey's and coffee in the morning at PHO. In March we stayed at the Cromwell since it was also comped but found ourselves walking to PHO since we enjoy it more. This trip were back there and I can't wait.

Yea, but those Ultra Hip rooms are going for several hundred a night -- rather stay a V/P at that point.

I don't mind walking so maybe I'll do the same and hit up pH every so often. I do like that CET properties all have their own personality to them. And beer pong at O'Sheas should be fun.

for us, A hip strip view room is the best we've seen so far..we both loved the view out of the ONE window (like less windows, less light bleed at night) and also the oversized soaking tub in Pho is AWESOME!
