We are staying at The STRAT on our next trip, but as we don't have a smart phone, nor do we like using credit cards unless absolutely necessary, we will be using a normal taxi, not Uber/ Lyft, just wondering how much this trip should cost approx. and should we advise the driver no tunnel, no highway?
In recent years we have started visiting the Gold Coast, which bus route would we need to get there from Strat? Many thanks.

Tell the cabbie to take Paradise to the Strip, should be around $20-$25.

    I agree w/ Mike.
The cabbie will tell you "there's alot of construction on Paradise, forget it".
Then you can tell him "okay...forget you ! ".........next cab.

Yep, Paradise to Sahara, including tip you'll likely be under $30. If you want to save a few bucks you can walk the extra few blocks from Sahara but that area between SLS and the Strat is slightly sketch.
