We will be in Vegas for our 40th anniversary  and would like to see him. Is there a suggestion of seating anywhere? I did a search on here and it didn't turn up anything, which tells me I probably didn't do it right.
How is section 201, rear orchestra? Its far right side as you face the stage. I'd rather sit where I won't need to watch a monitor to see him, but I'm not loaded enough to fork over more bucks. I already know it will be a great show. Also, should I get them online through Caesers or should I call? Would it make a difference? We are staying at Caesers. I don't know where the best deal would be. I love these boards :D
    Thanks in advance.

If you are referring to the shows at Caesars Colosseum, then you have the wrong number for the sections. The sections are 1-7, depending on which level. That being said, sections 4 and 5 in the rear orchestra are the best on that level in my opinion. 4 is center and 5 is on the side where the piano sits, so it is a good section too.

If you buy at the theatre box office you will save a whole bunch of TicketMaster fees.

Thank you both. 201 is what was showing on the seating chart where I was looking at the tickets offered. I'll go back and see what you are talking about.
I do try to avoid TicketMaster ;)

The other benefit of going to the box office is that you can select your seats more easily (they show you the chart). We've sat in Orch 5, row A - right beside Orch 4. Almost the middle and quite a bit cheaper than Orch 4. Row A is like a private box, with a low barrier in front of you (about 30" high), then the aisle. Wonderful seats!

If you are looking at the stage, his piano faces right, so unless you want to look at his back the whole time, I wouldn't choose a seat on the left side of the theatre. We saw him and he does get up now and then but the majority of the time is sitting at the piano.

Since the piano is on the left side, if you are on the right side, all you will see is him from the neck up with the piano blocking the view. The section one off from the center on the left side, has a perfect side view where you can see his whole body and his piano playing. If you are on the far left (section 6 rear orch), yes, you will see his back. This is why I said section 5 rear orchestra are great seats. I had comp tickets there, and if there were a TV camera filming the show, our seats would have been the ideal spot for camera to film from.

sound is great so thats not a problem. yes first pick the right side so ur not looking at his back, then the center section is the very expensive vip. its a small place around 4500 so not really a bad seat. u dont need to go to the box office to chose they have an interactive map online.

it just depends on your budget and whats available

just a heads if u seen elton in concert before its not his normal 3 hours show its around 1.40 long , still a great show but nothing like an actual elton concert.

Thanks for the update, paperposter .... a few years ago, we were told (and calculated) that we had save about $40+ by going to the Box Office. Perhaps they've changed policies ....

i did janet jackson at the theater for some friends and it was only around 4 or 5 $ a ticket , usualy u dont save much any more anywere , ticketmaster or axs has a monoply so you really cant get away from fees, very few venues dont have fees now.

maybe if your buying 4 tickets and its like 200-250 then yes , ten$ a ticket would make sense , but is the extra time and effort worth it. the more the ticket cost the more u save at the box office but still not much compare to just buying on tm and u might lose the seats if u dont get them at that time

We were stage left, audience right, quite a few rows back, and we had a very clear view of his face.

    Fee, or save the fee?

The real question, do you want the seats that are available TODAY, or the ones available when you get there?

As in " Sir, here is a nice map of the seats, just like online... and here are the seats that are left"

The Mrs and I saw him in April. It was my 2nd time seeing him and her first. I decided to splurge this time and buy the $250 seats (with Reward Credits) for a total of $500 reward credits. If you use reward credits, all taxes and fees are waived. Anyway, we were in row 5, just shy of the $500 per seat rows in which Casinoshar said, they get to go up on stage during one song towards the end of the show. I WILL NEVER pay that much for floor seats again. The first 4 rows kept standing up, which is fine, but even with me standing, it constantly blocked my view, and to topic all off, some jackwagon from Row 5 decided he wanted to try to go one stage with the first 4 rows, tripping over my feet, then tried to use me and the Mrs to break his fall. Once back on his feet, he was stopped by security, which stands in the isle between row 4 and row 5 during that song for that purpose right there. Once denied his "right to go on stage with Elton, he decided he wanted to argue with them for the remainder of the song, until his ultimate removal.

The first time i saw him, I was higher up, and had a PERFECT view, and liked it better. There is not a bad seat in the house.

I hope that Ray Cooper is in attendance with Elton when you go see him. He alone puts on one Hell of a show. He was there on my first, but not my second. Addtionally on my second trip, he didn't have the boys that played the Cello, or the 2 female backup singers like he did on the first time, which was April of 2015. Its like he's running it on a shoestring budget this year.

OMG! I so want to see him but of course, the week we are going his show is on Saturday, October 22 and then not again until Wednesday. We fly in at 5:45pm Saturday and fly out Wednesday. Do you think it's doable? I know it would be tight but assuming plane lands on time, we get our luggage, taxi etc and then maybe stick our bags at bell stand- maybe doable. Does he go on right away at 7:30? I would REALLY like to see him!!!

hes goes right on , its cutting very close , if your plane lands on time ,and your luggage comes right out u will make it if u go right to the show.if u land at 5.45.if u get luggage by 6.15 u will be at ceasars around 6.30 640 if all goes right. thats if evereything goes excatly as planned.

i would skip getting tickets and see what available the night off and just head to the box office if u land in time this way u dont lose ur ticket money.
