I flew to BWI from LAS on the night on July 22 and spent the night in the airport as the hotels were full. Certainly things can and do happen but I felt that SW could do better that a $200 voucher If, I'm missing something let me know..

Wife and I got 50% off any domestic flight for the next six months. We already booked another Vegas flight for next month!

When I flew out last year in Feb, we came back to a freak storm that didn't amount to anything but a blizzard looking flurrys due to the wind. We had wind gusts of like 50mph. We landed close to ontime, but sat on the tarmac for 3 hours due to ground crew not working. They said there was only one gate they could use and they had to pull each plane in and out due to the conditions. Once we got off the plane it was another 2 hours before we got our luggage. They would not let us come back, they kept saying if this was our final destination our luggage would be out soon. Needless to say we got a $200.00 voucher...

My girlfriend had a weather (lightning) related delay of about 5 hours last month and got a $200 voucher.

Instead of calling, I emailed them a complaint using the form on their website last week - still haven't heard back.

Flying home in December from Las to Amarillo non stop we got diverted to Albquerque at Midnight! Rather than spend the night at SWA's expense we rented a car and drove for 4 hours to get home. All we got was a refund for one way flight home. No credit for car rental which was not inexpensive. I felt we were screwed by SWA.

SWA isn't providing the customer service they used to be known for. They lost my luggage 2 out of my last 3 flights. Lucikily, my luggage was found days later and returned to me.

I was stuck in the whole thing and after I got home, I e-mailed them a compliment and heard right back! They know they f-ed up, they didn't need me grinding on them about that. I was very impressed with their employees in Las Vegas, who were just being abused by most patrons, keeping their cool. I dealt with the whole thing when it happened on Wednesday and then again on Thursday for most of the day. I actually sat next to one of the gate desks and 1 out of every 10 people was decent, the rest were just assh*%es in my opinion. The SWA staff was surprisingly calm and professional.

I haven't heard from SW as of yet and nor did I receive an email about half off flights for the next 6 months. Certainly SW is busy and I'm sure they'll get to me in due time whatever that may be. The saga continues.

You didn't receive an email that they received your complaint? I had an issue with United a couple of weeks ago and I sent in a complaint using their form and received an email that they received the complaint and would get back to me within 5 business days. I did get a reply back and We each recived a $100 travel certificate.

I agree you should have too. SW gave me a 400 voucher for just taking a later flight due to overbooking this past January.

I also was caught up in the July 20th computer snafu. My flight from LAS got cancelled, as every other flight did also, and they said they could not get me home for two more days. I paid for a delta flight to get home. They announced at the airport and even on TV that SWA would be in touch with all of us in the coming weeks regarding compensation for the inconveniences that they caused their passengers. Four days ago I sent them an email........crickets. I've lost a lot of trust in SWA.

I sent them an email weeks ago and never heard anything back.

Either there is a HUGE backlog, or they are just ignoring me.

Got the code for 50% off a flight that has to be booked by 10/31/16 as their initial "Sorry" email. The 50% is off of the fare only it doesn't reduce any fees or taxes. My return flight was cancelled and I booked my return through another airline. So, I got the return flight refunded. After emailing them about the overnight stay they responded a couple weeks later with a $200 voucher good for a year from the date I booked my original trip.

I emailed SW about the 50% off promo awhile ago and I just got it. How many times may it be used as the promo doesn't say. Thanks.

I sent them an email shortly after I got stranded during the July 20 computer outage. I had to stay two nights at TI and pay for a Delta flight home, all in all a little over $700. The other day I got an email from them asking me to email them my receipts. Within 12 hours I got an email from them saying they would pay the hotel and airfare, minus the refunded SW airfare from my cancelled SW flight on July 20, plus a $200 voucher. It took a while but I'm pleased.

Yeah, I figured they would eventually get around to it and was surprised that they agreed to pay for my hotel.
