I wasn't sure where to put this exactly so I went with misc lol. I've got my trip booked for September 16-19. Staying at PH in a 2 queen resort room thanks to Hunter who also waived resort fee as a part of upfront comps after contacting my local host as I have no play with CET. I very seldom post but have been a member of this great board for some time now. It's weird because I don't have much to say or contribute I feel on this board, but in person I am one of the nicest, genuine, most talkative people you'll meet. Although I hardly post, I am avid reader and follower of most TR's daily! If you want to get to know me or my games or Vegas lifestyle, feel free to ask away! Maybe that will help open me up lol. I'll add that I will be flying out of STL to LAS. Lumiere Casino in St. Louis, MO is my home casino and I have a great host there. They've always treated me right. I'd also love to meet up with any VMB'ers who may be in Vegas at the same time as me! It's just one of my close friends and I that are going. I'll leave it at this for now.

    Howdy! Have an excellent trip!
I bet you'll have so much fun you'll want to do a TR about it!

I've thought about a TR but I'm not sure whether I'd try a live one or do one after I returned. But everyone writes great TR's I don't know if I could write a very good one with the bar being set so high!

You've gotta go for that TR! :biker: I don't do "Live" ones because I don't have a smartphone of my own. (My wife has one, but it's a permanently-attached accessory for her.) There are lots of interesting formats people choose to use. Everything from play-by-play down to just a brief synopsis. Oh, yeah--pictures are always good, too, if possible!

Have no fear, Dynasty22! Every TR is different, unique, interesting, informative in it's own way. Every TR is worthy of a read. I think you will be pleasantly surprised how well received your TR will be if you decide to go for it! Trust me, I am neither a stylistic or good writer and rather boring - but there are always a few passages or phrases or pics that will catch a reader's eye. I took a chance and did a TR after my recent trip to Vegas - much harder to do than I thought but decided, oh well, what the heck I had a great time in Vegas and wanted to share my experience - and folks were very kind in acknowledgements.

Appreciate the positivity! I think I'll make notes on my phone as I go then when I get the time I'll put together a report whether it be live or at the end :)
Anyone have any questions for me? I'm strictly a BJ player. I'll dabble in other games just to play for fun but I'll play lower limits for those games. Usually it's just cause I have friends, girlfriend, or family with me. My buddy and I are thinking about checking out top golf. Anyone have any input on it? We are both avid golfers..it is also the reason why I have not student loans :)

Nice! I'll be there the weekend before! I was going to originally stay at PH, but I check my TR account every day and saw a king suite at the Linq for $79 a night. I had to bite on that so now I'll be there. Either way, I'm sure you're as excited as I am to hit up Vegas in a month!

I am very excited as well! I'm excited to casino hop and gamble and just take in the sites and sounds. I have a trip to the spa planned, as well as the pool, and of course many adult beverages. I'm curious to see as well what kind of comps I will generate from this trip.

Good luck on your trip! But if you have a host at Lumiere, I'm surprised he didn't try to set you up with someone at Cosmo. Lumiere offers stays there for higher level players according to the Player's Club webpage.

He did but at my tier level they could only comp me 2 nights and I am going for 3. I am sure I would've gotten the 3rd night comped on the back end but I didn't want to confine my gambling to one location. I am testing the waters this trip by concentrating on CET property's to see what I generate. I may try Mlife in the future to see how they compare. But for now Hunter has been gracious and after I meet him and seeing what happens, I wanted to dedicate my play to him and who he represents :)

That's great. Hunter is my Host and he's very easy to deal with. If you gamble up to the expectation he will treat you fairly. Have a great time, we will be back at P.Ho in November.

Have a great trip and most def do a TR, they're fun to write and it's a great way to re-live all the great moments of your visit.

You mentioned "adult beverages". When I was there in July I had a beer one evening at the outside portion of Nine Fine Irishmen overlooking the strip at NYNY. The weather should be el perfecto for you in September.

Have a great trip and a super time!!!
