Spago in the Forum Shops has a very reasonable happy hour from 3pm-close (someone please verify - this was one year ago). $5/6 per dish. Otherwise, dinner options there are $~20 each. It's Italian.

There are lots of other options in the food court directly across from the Colisseum entrance. Philips Seafood, Earl of Sandwich, pizza and ramen, amongst a couple others.

Trevi, right by the fountain, is a very good Italian restaurant that is not outrageously priced. Great for people-watching.

This. Avoid Gordon Ramsay. My folks were there recently and they said it was terrible.

Everybody has different experiences. We have eaten there twice and enjoyed it.
    Mesa is another favorite.

Not sure which show you are going to. It a big show at Caesars, there will be LOTS of people trying to eat at the same time.

Mesa Grill is very good and we really liked the homestead for a steak.

Cheesecake Factory in the Forum Shops, gets a bit dissed on this board sometimes but you know what you get. Never had a bad meal.....

Agree about Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grille. Average at best, not worth it (I enjoyed BurGR and Steak, but not this one). Trevi is good.

Good court is a winner for me. Everyone eats what they want to eat and it's close to the showroom and I can play slots if time allows. La Gloria us my favorite. Johnny Hernandez is the owner. He has 3 places in San Antonio that I Love to eat at whenever I get a chance.
Serendipity is a cool place to eat and have dessert at.

Inexpensive - the food court (very close to the Coliseum entrance in the Forum
Casino / or the American Cafe off of the Lobby - both in Caesar's Proper
Moderate - Mesa Grill or Bejiing Noodle 9 - in Caesar's Proper / Cheesecake Factory, Trevi, Spago - Forum Shops
Little more expensive - but very good in the Forum Shops - Palm
Expensive - but oh so good / Forum Shops - Joe's Stone Crab
Expensive in Caesar's proper / Old Homestead Steakhouse or NOBU

No love for Rao's? I thought the food was pretty good. Meatballs are outstanding.

I have, unfortunately, never been to Rao's. I have heard it is good and hope
one day to try it. I was only listing places I have personally tried. Maybe others
were doing the same. Hopefully I can add it to my list soon.

Big thumbs down for GR Pub and double thumbs down for the steakhouse in the Forums shops (Palms).
Serendipity serves some very good food and a decent amount for the price.

Sunday we will be seeing Rod Stewart and eating at Rao's before. We have early reservations (through our host) so looking forward to each. A big piece of lasagna or veal parm sounds great.............Rick

I wasn't calling you out. My post just happened to be under yours. Everyone else was listing good dining options in Ceasers but failed to mention Rao's; which I found surprising cause I thought it's a popular place.

Oh I know - I wasn't thinking that - I was just explaining in case they did want to eat there and thought it might
be bad because none of us recommended it. I have heard good things about it - I just have never had the
chance to eat there. Hope to sometime. :)

+1 for Cheesecake Factory at the Forum Shops. It's one of my favorites for a casual, nice and affordable meal.

I've eaten at Rao's and loved it, Spago is a great too (had my wedding reception there). Top notch food at both locations.
