According to the Twitter feed of "Johnny Kats", now back with the Review-Journal, Steve Wynn told the cast that he loves the show and is giving it another shot. Financial restructuring. 3 month extension. Show will be revamped. New sets being designed.

Probably couldn't find a suitable replacement.

"Financial restructuring", to me means the performers/production team agreed to pay cuts and or cutbacks in staff to make the show more economical. Is anybody really going to see that show now that wouldn't before because some of the sets are being redesigned?

Are ticket prices coming down? That's what it would take to save it,

I thought it was a great show. I've seen it three times. I'm surprised it wasn't doing better.

I enjoyed it as well. Glad it will be extended so I can take my Mom!

I enjoyed Showstoppers. The singing, dancing and costumes were great. The orchestra was amazing. Venue was excellent. BUT THE MUSIC WAS SO OLD...We're in our 60's and we didn't know some of the numbers. When I wrote my TripAdvisor review I suggested incorporating some more contemporary Broadway numbers. I hope that's what they do.

We loved this show and have seen it twice. I think lowering the price would get it more business. It's almost as much as "O" and not nearly as complicated as far as set design is concerned.

So does anybody know....did they actually revamp the show? I'd go see it again if they did and added more well known songs. It was something fun to do while we're there for a week.
