I broke down and installed W10 last week and I'm slowly getting used to it but there is one thing I hate and hope one of you can help. Lets say I have several spreadsheets open. When I pass the mouse over the Excel icon on the taskbar it shows me miniature pictures of the open sheets and I hate it. In Win7 it was an option to display the way 10 does, or I could have each open sheet on the taskbar as a separate icon. The same applies to having multiple sites open in a browser. I've been Googling to find that option in 10 w/o any luck.
Right click on the task bar, go to Properties, under Taskbar Buttons select "never combine". That will take care of multiple spreadsheets, docs, etc.
According to Microsoft, there will be no Windows 11. Just periodic small updates, no new major release.
