I have some comp night offers at MSS -- but for a change of pace I was wondering if anyone has had any success using them at California or Fremont? (Definitely can't book anything but MSS nights online -- just checked.)

    Thanks in advance!

I think so for The Cal, but not the Fremont. However, I could be wrong. You'll have to call to make it happen. With Boyd, your 'home' casino is the one where you first signed up for the player's club. If you'd prefer to receive offers from the Cal for your MSS/Cal play, you can ask them to change your home casino to the Cal.

I would not be surprised if they say "No".
MSS is more toward locals while Cal is more toward Hawaiian tourists.
They share the same hosts, but offers are different.

I was told by a Bconnected person that, if I switch my home casino, my free room night offers will automatically switch to them at the same time.
    I've never tried it though.
I'm curious how often they'd allow somebody to switch. If it's not limited, then I would suggest switching to the property where you want to stay, and then switch back again whenever you want to be back at MSS.

My Boyd home casino is Fremont, so all my comp room offers are there. For a trip earlier this year, my dad and sister made reservations at Cal. When I called to book a room, I asked if I could use my room offer at Cal instead of at Fremont because it would be more convenient for us to all be at the same hotel. I was told that would be allowed only if Fremont was booked up.

For an upcoming trip, one of the nights I wanted was not available at Fremont, and I asked If I could book at Cal or MSS instead. I was told that all nights of my trip would have to be booked up at Fremont for the offer to be honored at Cal or MSS.
