Bell transportation. Has anyone used there share a limo to and from airport to hotel. And if you have how was it and did you have a smooth return pickup without calling them. And how many people share the ride and such

    Thanks

We have used it our 1st two trips. The first time we had to wait a little too long for a car to leave the airport. When the man who calls for the cars to pick you up noticed our unhappiness he came over and radioed again and said he wanted a limo ASAP. (When purchasing a limo is not guaranteed for groups of 2.) It quickly arrived after 2nd call. Otherwise it was a great experience. Limo by ourselves both from and to the airport. Second time it was a Lincoln Navigator to strip and Cadillac Escalade to airport, again just the 2 of us.

I always use this company and have never shared a limo/car either way. You usually walk up to the podium at door 9, (I believe) and they will call a car. Sometimes it's a limo, sometimes it's a nice sedan. I'm usually solo or with one other person and if I had to share, I really wouldn't mind. I made it to Vegas and that's all that matters!! They will email you and usually call you on your departure day for pickup. I don't have any complaints with this service and it will continue to be my go to company.

If you don't mind me asking - What is the price usually when you end up solo? Do they charge you the whole
price, or still give you a break on price as though it was shared? I have used the limo from the
casino but never tried this. Might be worth a look. Tks

I believe its $30 per person, r/t. On the Bell site you will see the shared limo info. You just fill out the info and pre pay. Never had a problem making changes or getting a refund if my trip didn't pan out, just gave them a call. I know some people don't like them but so far so good for me.

I've used them once so far going to the strip. They just charged me $30. And, I guess it was a slow time, so I was the only one in the car. The trip back was right on time, and got to the airport in plenty of time.
I've already signed up with them for my next trip.

We used it on our last trip and LOVED it. Had a town car both ways, no sharing. It also is nice pre-paying a flat rate versus watching the stupid ticker go up and up. Depending on where you stay on the strip, you're paying more for a cab for 1-2 people, but not much. (More than 2 it'll get pricey.) Super comfy and stress-free.

If uber/lyft was drastically cheaper I might try it (key word MIGHT), but I'd NEVER pick a cab over Bell Limo share. It's not a huge price difference and worth every penny in my book. And same price if you get it solo vs. shared.

P.S. my hubby is frugal for himself. For me, he's very generous, but for him? F-R-U-G-A-L. When I suggested trying lyft/uber next trip, HE got huffy and said he wanted Bell Limo Share--period. When someone frugal fights for paying more, you know it's a decent service ;)

Thanks to all above for the great information. I will definitely give this
a try. I am always meeting people when I go -- not usually arriving
at exactly the same time. Sometimes my host will send a limo, but
sometimes I stay other places and I don't want to have him book stuff. This
    will be a great alternative.

It's the Belltrans VIP shuttle (not to be confused with the basic shuttle). It's a flat rate per person round trip (used to be $28 but now up to $30) and must be booked ahead of time. I've used them on at least four trips. Only time I had a problem was my last trip when my ride back to the airport unexpectedly changed and I somehow got lost in the shuffle. It took them about 30 minutes to straighten it out and send someone else. I tend to leave very early for the airport so ultimately it wasn't a problem. I've always had a car/limo to myself when travelling solo.

Since Uber and Lyft are now in service, I'll probably try them next time, but I have no problems booking Belltrans VIP shuttle.

Thanks for this. For reasons unexplained I'm still hesitant with Uber/Lyft so I think I'll give this a try in a couple of weeks.
