Not a live report but I thought I'd go over some hilights of my trip with my two teenage kids.

I had a comp at Mandalay Bay but asked for a room at Delano and it was no problem. Delano has two bathrooms and a separate bedroom from the living area. Also got a fridge for drinks and leftovers

The view from our room looking north up the strip. We could see the new arena for the NHL team.

We went to the pool every day but it was soooo crowded. We usually went around noon and there were very few chairs open. Tough to find three together but we managed. The hotels weren't full so I think the pools must be absolutely jampacked when they are full.
The wave pool was fun. Lazy river was cool but we didn't bother buying a tube for $20. I think we should've in retrospect. I suggest bringing them from home.
There's a sandy beach area but we don't like sand so avoided it. It was too hot to walk barefoot so bring sandals.

Went to Rock of Ages at Rio. Had dinner at All-American at rio. The food was average but fast and inexpensive. I enjoyed my Club sandwich a lot but burger and pulled pork sandwich were sub par. About $15 each w fries.

We got general admission tickets for about $60 ea. Lined up about 20 mins before show but recommend lining up earlier for better seats along the rail.
Really enjoyed the show. I knew all the songs but even tho my kids didn't know them they enjoyed it too. It had some good laughs, predictable plot but great singers and energy. Highly recommend and I'd see it again.

Ate at Border grill at mandalay for lunch. It's near the pool and shark tank area.
Excellent food but quesadillas were below par. Really liked the free nachos and the enchiladas for about $18. They gave us more nachos to take with our leftovers.

Ate at Grand Wok at mgm grand. Chow mein and rolls were great. Pad thai not so much.
    007 576 ka.jpg 007 - 24 of ka.jpg 007 578 ka.JPG
Ka was a great show with some martial arts displays and the usual cirque magic. The boat scene was a highlight for me.

Stayed at mandalay today since we went to see the MJ One show which is just outside the Delano.
Had brunch at Citizens. Split the steak and eggs with my son which was perfect. Daughter had fruit and granola.

Went to Crossroads which is part of the house of blues. I loved my meatloaf! Kids liked their food too including dessert. Bread pudding I think.

Saw the MJ One show which was fantastic! If you like his music (which I do again now that he has passed) then you'll enjoy the fast paced show. More expensive than Ka but well worth the price.
There were a few performers from the show wandering the audience before the show. Take a pic with them if you can. Turns out they were featured performers.
I enjoyed it more than Love and I love beatles music.

Went to Penn and Teller at Rio for our final show. Fantastic show! Highly recommend.
Be sure to get cards from the tubs in the lobby so you can participate in the 'I Found Love' trick. It's a fantastic trick.
    011 - 65 of penn -Rio copy.jpg
Pre-show you can go on stage and check out some props. check them out carefully. Makes the tricks seem even more amazing.

There's a trick that you can participate in by going on stage. Be ready for it and join in.

After the show hustle out and into the lobby to take pics with penn and teller. I knew about this from reading a review online so we literally ran out and didn't have to wait in a line.
Here's the selfie that Teller took. He even talked to us! They were both gracious and friendly.

We snacked on pretzels from a little shop between mbay and luxor. Also enjoyed the yogurt place.
We had a great trip. Hope to go again in future and hope you enjoyed my post-trip report.

I think Mandalay is the best place to go with Teens. Great rooms (Delano) and it's far enough away from the strip but close enough ... You know? I want to see MJ One. I think in September i will need to make this a Must Do!
Great food pics! Glad you had a good trip!
