I have not heard anything about the conversion of the Zarkana space into convention centre space. Is this renovation going on right now?

I stayed at Aria in late June. The theater space was "walled off" with the temporary floor to ceiling construction walls so I assume that work is underway.

I guess it's safe to say the renovations aren't bothering anybody???

Indeed. The construction walls were the full floor-to-ceiling boards that are finished and painted over. Unless you had your heart on seeing Zarkana you will not be bothered by it in the least.

The location of the theater and convention center is on the second(promenade) floor and does not have any impact on the casino, bars or restaurants.
The buffet,Carbone,Herringbone,Bardot, and Jean George are all on the the second floor but in a completely different section.Herringbone is close but it is before the theater.
