Looking for a fun, upbeat, but good place for our first night for the wife and I. Would like to stay in the Venetian palazzo area. So far considering:
    Lavo

    Tao

    Sushisamba

Any thoughts on these, or other suggestions?

The rest of the week I've decided on Cut, Wolfgang bar and grill, and Joe's Stone Crab. Opinions on these would be appreciated too.

Love Tao for the fun place - try to get there on every trip - get the sea bass

Cut is phenomenal - Joes very good as well

Gilley's BBQ at TI was fun. Country scene isn't really my thing but the waitresses do these funny line dances. Saw a sign for bikini bull riding on Monday nights which would probably be a hoot!
