...MGM needs to step it up a bit imo. Their games are pretty lame considering what's out there from other FB casinos.

Do the other FB casinos give you Vegas freebies?
    I've never looked.

Caesars Casino offers Total Rewards points and status upgrades I think. I realize they provided a great product - somewhat - but the format of their games is getting old and tired. I've been playing since 2011 sam old same old.

    Fixed it for you.

And I agree, Playstudio's slot games are tired and over done (which is why I think they got in bed with Konami to try and bring some real slot games to the table.) Instead of working on a way to do video poker or add other tables games, especially if the table games became social where you could play at a table with others, the focus a formula that looks more like repackage a previous game, add new bonus games, then add a jackpot feature.

As for MGM, they are more of a sponsor of the MyVegas and really don't have any input in what slots or games they add.

Only if you purchase chips to play with. MyVegas doesn't require chip purchases to get anything.

AFAIK, MGM/mLife has nothing to do with myVegas other than being their original redemption partner.

mLife maintains a strong relationship with myVegas, but that's about it.

myVegas is owned by Playstudios and their CEO has a past relationship with mLife.

That what I was doing too. I am not a fan of grinding away at slots. If they had VP, that would be another story. You'd never get me off there. :)

I stopped playing MyVegas for a long while. I brought 3 rewards on my last trip and only used one of them. :( Now that I am starting to see the hints of a Vegas trip on the horizon, I may play a bit to earn some rewards.

I am sitting on close to 700,000 LPs right now on My Vegas but I won't be using any of them on this Vegas trip. I'm saving them for the next trip I take with a group of friends who also play so we can all get free show tickets and food (and maybe a helicopter ride if they ever refresh that reward.) I'm using a bunch of rewards on my upcoming trip to the Borgata in AC, though: $10 free slot play, $25 free table play, free small coffee, free macaroons, etc. I'm definitely still getting a lot of value out of it and I'll get a lot more value out of it once I switch to MGM after MGM finalizes the purchase of the Borgata.

4 million gold coins = $750.00 food and beverage credit at NYNY. :)

    Plus 6 rewards....

Boring, but also free. Been crushing the wolfgang puck rewards. For the next trip I got the free bottle of wine at wp Crystals (will report back as to how rot-gutty it is), and might get a dessert for wp MGM. For my 3 limit I'm using $50 freeplay at Aria, one free night at Mandalay Bay, and one free buffet at Aria. Hoping I can use the freeplay on some $5 a spin machine - I know you can't use it on progressives but hopefully I can find a suitable candidate. Open to slot suggestions, those of you who have luck at Aria!

I do enough to keep my points active. I go solo, don't stay and MGM hotels and can't find enough rewards to use the points I already have. But since you have to buy chips to get double XP and their new games are lamer and lamer, there is no point in playing constantly. When you look at the activity level at Caesars Casino and their sister apps who don't offer really anything for play, it's clear Playstudios isn't doing it right. A good casino app should be able to draw all kinds of players and they are barely hanging onto the folks who are actively mining the game for rewards.

I agree that MyVegas has become a yawner. I started with it when there where about 10,000 players. Great rewards then and lifelike and fair-paying slots. It was fun to play.

Now I feel like they just want to convince you to spend money to get the rewards. The slots are so tight that if I were playing at any casino in Vegas, I'd have walked out long ago.And forget about the bonus rounds and quests - all of which have gotten downright stingy. To me, what is missing is the rush of playing slots. I do like the various community groups that have sprung up around MV. .

Each to his own, I guess. I admit I'm spoiled by two decades of Vegas comps for just about anything I want - shows, food, rooms. The thought of spending hundreds (or thousands) of dollars to get virtual chips to get gold coins that can be traded in for perks/deals doesn't lure me in.

Anyway,I 'm looking for other FB games. I don't like the Total Rewards sites, as I can't figure out how the online benefits my TR balance in casino -- if they would say, "For every level you achieve here, you get 10 tier points" I'd be on those sites in a flash.

Today I tried Real Casino. No opinion yet.

Would enjoy ideas about other FB games that still have a good slot-appeal.

Thank God we did not pay for Zumanity a couple of years ago. The show was not our favorite even though the tickets were free from MV. But Love tickets last year and this year for free can not be beat! Working with Stations for a couple of free nights at GVR in September.

Bingo, I just play the games with the least interaction (so the spins don't get interrupted for me having to click on some worthless bonus).

If nothing else, the freeplay rewards are always worth about their face value, so recently I've been using my corporate offers to stay at different properties so I can claim the corresponding ones and essentially get a free $85 per trip.

I used to just turn it on and run it in the background when I was working online in the monings. only takes about 30 minutes or so per day for about 6 months to build up a decent amount. i dont watch the screen, just listen for a different sound that means i have to do something like a bonus.

dont play it much now as i dont really care for the rewards but i have quite a few points.

I decided to log in and see what I've got the other day. Put in a few spins and I have 800K worth to spend. I looked at the rewards and I'm not that inspired. :blah: Plus, I'm thinking about staying at a CET property this time. Or TI, if they still remember me. ;)

Back in April I had a 3 night stay at MGM - 2 of which were comped. I ended up staying at TI - we hadn't been there in a few years but occasionally get an offer for discounted nights -- no free nights. Our stay for 3 nights was less than it would have been at MGM. Resort fees were optional - and we opted out. They gave us free late check out at 3 pm. We got a strip view for no extra charge. The room was quiet and clean -- smaller than MGM but just as nice. It was nice having a CVS right there. I am hoping they send another similar offer for early next year.

I still log in every day for my spin and to collect the chips from My Strip. But I, too, have close to 800K gold coins and more and more of my daily spins are netting me the gold coins over the playable ones.

For my April trip, I redeemed five different rewards (so there is some value) but they were all penny-ante stuff... BOGO for a pound of candy at HEXX, a free T-Shirt and a match play at Palace Station, BOGO lunch buffet at Bellagio, and two free Shark Reef tickets from Mandalay Bay (which I redeemed online and ended up not using).

I figure the 800K I already have will take years to redeem unless I just happen to pop in and something amazing is available. So for that reason I am not compelled to play anymore. Why keep adding to the gold coins that I already may never redeem?
