Just wanted to say a group thank you to all of you awesome VMB Trip Reporter's. It takes planning, time, commitment and a willingness to share and, I'm guessing, some apprehension to put ourselves out there.

There have been so many exceptionally good TR's of greatly varying styles in the past couple of months (and prior - it just seems lately I'm following and appreciating them more).
As I follow each one, 'that one' becomes my favorite - until I read the next one. I really could not choose a favorite - because each one has a unique view and takeaway. Witty, thoughtful, hilarious, informative, sentimental, wild, detailed, tongue in cheek, out there, wistful, heartfelt, short and concise, long and detailed, and educational, all just enjoyable and fun to read!
    And the pictures? Wow!

So please keep them coming fellow VMB'ers - your reports keep me (and many others) going and further anticipating my next trip to Vegas - although my trips are so boring, I'm going to have to step it up a notch and take some hints from yours!!
    Sincerely,
    Geogran

Agree completely. It was my fascination and appreciation of natedogg666's epic trip reports which inspired me to join VMB.

I'm old and dull, and I love vicariously enjoying the more interesting trips of contributors here.

Lol - luckily mine is now 10 days away. But as for sanity - too late for me - I've been going to Vegas now for 16 years - no cure that I'm aware of.

Well said, Geogran! I also love the variety of different experiences I read about here. I've learned something from every TR--from the wildest ones down to the almost-put-you-to-sleep ones (my own TRs are likely in this category). My wife refers to me as the least interesting man in America, but hopefully my contributions to this board provide at least a little information/entertainment that others may need/want.

Thanks, all, for your wonderfully diverse participation and camaraderie. I appreciate you all!
Less than a week until Vegas for my bride and I!

Lol - DH and I fall into that category of least interesting - I love reading the TR's hoping some of the pizazz and style of these gifted and comedic writers will rub off on me...not gonna happen...
Lucky you and your wife - on your way to the Happy place in less than a week!!
We are right behind you in 9 days....

BTW Richard - enjoyed your cruise TR from December - Also your observation: "This trip really inspired me to take more time to experience and appreciate the beauty our planet has to offer" is true no matter where we are - amazing the beauty all around us when we take time to pause....

I have done many live TR's here and really enjoy having you all live vicariously through me. Have you seen any? The live TR process for me is really easy although they feel kinda redundant to me in a lot if of ways. Should I keep doing them? Keep all of yours going as i like to live vicariously through you too! VMB is the original and I have learned so much here and will continue to post tr's and thread content here and on plee's site as there is enough contrast to post on both. Next trip for me, August 18..

Do you really have to ask? ;) MORE MORE MORE!!!!! :woohoo:

I don't get to Vegas nearly as often as I once did. I think the TRs keep me (relatively) sane in between trips.
