I've stayed at Aria many times over the years. I've been in a normal room most of the time and gotten corner suite a couple of times. I'll be there again later in the week.

Thinking back, I don't believe I've ever stayed on a floor higher than 25 or so (whatever that middle bank of elevators serve). I think there are 2 banks of elevators on the right side for floors 30 and higher.

Is there something special about rooms on those higher floors?

I've been platinum for many years and that never made a difference. I know Sky Suites have their own lobby/entrance. So I don't think it's Sky Suites, but not sure what floors they are on.

    thanks

We have stayed in Sky Suites on floors 50 and 51. The Sky Suites are accessed through their private elevator lobby, so I don't have any knowledge of the other elevator bank.

I have stayed on the 51st floor also. The room was called a Junior Suite. It was the same type of room on the 25th floor. We originally got the 25th floor but when we got to the room it smelled like cigarette smoke. So called down and they moved us to the 51st floor in the same type of room. Yay for cigarette smoke that trip.

34 in a Corner Suite is the highest I have stayed at Aria.

Our first stay was in a King Room that faced the pool at the Varada and the Mountains off to the distance. It was somewhere in the 20's floor.

Our second stay was a King Strip View room on the 53rd floor. It was essentially the same room but the glass window area seemed a little bigger and the room was setup a little different in terms of where the bed was placed etc. I doubt it was bigger but it seemed like there was more sitting area at the window. We could see all the way down to Mandalay Bay and all the way up the LINQ High Roller. We have a pretty good view of the planes taking off every 15 minutes from sun up to sun down.

My sister is a travel agent and called down a week before hand to verify our reservation and told a nice person working there that we were repeats and it was my birthday and we just wanted to be up high and near the elevator (like everyone else). She said she would have something nice for us. The girl at check in brought us up on the computer and the asked to wait while she confirmed something. She then said something like they don't usually give these rooms out or they are special or something to that effect. It was a gorgeous view.

We usually get a room in the 30s. Nothing different about the regular rooms. It is a nice view though.

Don't think there's anything special til you get up HIGH high. I stayed on floor 28 on my last trip in a normal room. Had a "view" of the south facing side of Cosmopolitan and its pool deck. I suppose if I'd had binoculars I could have seen some "interesting" things, but I'm not (generally) a perv.

Would have preferred a south facing view to be honest, but otherwise the Aria was great. Never had to wait long for or share a crowded elevator.

    @KellyLovesVegas

Are the sky suites only on floors 50 & 51 - i.e. if you book a Sky Suite its guaranteed to be on one of those floors? Just wondering as that's our plan for next years trip. Couldn't find it on the Aria website.

    Thanks for the help.

The only difference is how far you can see out to the horizon not blocked by buildings if you're on the strip-facing side. I was on 57 facing north and east at Cosmo last week, and the air was clear enough at night, that it's like being 100+ floors up in any other big city. It's definitely impressive.

On the mountain side at Aria, there's really only one condo building to block part of the view.

Here are some terrible photos I took of our view. If you are looking at Aria from the Strip we would have been top left. The window was L Shaped on the south side which gave us a better view towards Mandalay Bay and The Delano. I believe we could also see a piece of the T Mobile Arena.

    Tried a Panoramic at Night.

I don't know. You might call the Sky Suites concierge and ask? We have stayed there 4 times: each time we were assigned to a 1 bedroom Sky Suite on one of those two floors.

The sky suites are not just on floors 50 and 51. I have had rooms in the low 30s all the way up into the high 30s. I was just there last week and I think the sky suite floors start at 25. The sky suites rooms are in the center tower, so there are no long hallways.

Ok strange. We stayed on one of our trips in a Corner Suite on the 34 floor that didn't have those long hallways and only one way to go when you stepped out of the elevator but I know we were not in the Sky Suites but this Corner Suite didn't look like the rest of them I have stayed in before.

    Great idea!
I've been in the mid to high 20s in the SS my last eight trips and I never requested a high or low floor.
    Calling tomorrow.

I just got back yesterday and this time we had a king room/mountain view on floor 22. Last year, we were on floor 36 with a city view. Barelyhangingon, we had that exact same view you posted pics of but we were on a lower floor. In 2014, we had a city view room on the 18th floor.

Check out this site...https://www.room77.com/hotel-las-vegas-aria-resort-casino-311298 ....you can get an idea of the layout of Aria.
