I haven't tried it, but have heard good things about the escargot at Mon Ami Gabi.

I have also seen it on the menu at Bouchon in Venetian.

Le Cirque was the best I've had. I recently saw it offered at Bardot Brasserie, but I opted for the duck over the snails.

The Bardot version is wonderful but not a traditional in that they are done in a light pastry puff with toasted Hazelnuts and Chartreuse garlic butter,

Hugo's Cellar in the Four Queens has Escargot in a delightful garlic butter sauce.

I was not thrilled with the escargot at Hugo's Cellar. They do prepare them in the proper dish with a garlic butter sauce but rather than serving them with the proper toast points they put a pastry dough over each escargot. Sounds good, but when you put the dough on the escargot it becomes ultra greasy and doesn't rise properly. Just a chewy greasy thing. There's a reason the French serve it with just plain toast points.
