Anybody know if a host comped room would interfere with a comped room offer booked on Mlife.com?

I know you aren't able to redeem two offers during a single trip but would the scenario mentioned in the title trip the system and deny check-in? I have a room set up by my host via email and was wondering if I could also book a comped room offer on the Mlife website.

No I'm pretty sure you can't but if you need two rooms your Host could probably book both of them. Just remember if you don't gamble enough to cover both rooms your future offers could suffer.

For the same dates, I think someone will catch it. It may slip through, but like Peachie said, you will be on the hook for double the comp value.

If the dates do not overlap, it shouldn't be a problem as long as your host did not attach any offer code to the reservation he/she made for you.

I'm not a host expert as I prefer promos (play enough to get good comps, but not enough to really be worth a host's time.)...BUT on my last trip, I had a 3 night corporate comp at Bellagio, followed immediately by a 3 night host comp at MC, worked fine. But everyone is right, if you play too light to cover double comps, it can affect future offers.

I'd probably book your Mlife comp first, THEN the host comp. A) The host should know right away if they can't book it, B) if you hit a glitch at check-in on the second property, you'd have the host to reach out to, whereas with the Mlife comp, you'd be on your own.

Note, I am speaking consecutive bookings on a single trip (6 days total), one after the other, not two rooms on the same dates.

    Good luck!

It is common to have back to back stays at Mlife - BUT for almost everyone , only one can be a comp offer with extras (FP, Food, etc). The other can only be a room. And of course, if your play is very low, you are not going to get that anyways.

It appears that getting two bookings will be stopped at the point of actually making the reservation, or within a few days. NOT at checkin.

Side note - sometimes the host booked room is actually using a corporate comp anyways. That is the case for most of our stays.

As said, book the offer with extras first, then add days. The host will know if he/she can or can not book it.

I do the same thing all the time.
Most MLife promo offers are for 3 nights.
Flying 5+ hours from Philly I usually want to stay 4-5 nights.
My host books me under the offer so I get the F+B or resort credit of the offer but adds 1 or 2 nights to the reservation without any questions.

I tried this in October 15'. Had two rooms booked by host. 3 nights each at mirage. I already had 3 nights booked on offer through MLIFE for MB before mirage host hooked me up. Host at mirage never said anything about MB room. The one who caught it was the MB, when I tried to get show tickets. Host at MB was cool about it, she just said I was way over comped. She books rooms for me still at Delano.

I went ahead and booked the online offer for a comped room (same dates) and it went through successfully (that was 3 days ago), no signs of cancellation yet. I'll take the risk and see if I can check-in! I don't mind paying for the room at casino rate and I should be playing enough to cover the two rooms anyways.

So one host comped room with no offers attached, and one online comped room. We'll see in two weeks!
