My coworker is in Vegas now and she said she is so disappointed, the Bellagio fountains aren't working. She's been there since Saturday night and said they've been down the whole time. Bummer for a Vegas virgin to not be able to watch the fountain show!

Wynn has a small fountain show on corner near Fashion Show Mall. Never made it down the other side of strip.

Huh? A friends snapchat from last night showed them working I thought? Maybe I looked at it wrong.

I assume she is aware of the "show times" and not making an assumption based on when they are not running normally?

Are you sure that your coworker a) knows where the bellagio fountains are, and b) realizes that fountain shows don't run 24/7?

Never knew this webcam was there. And, at 7pm Pacific, the fountains are working just fine.

Have the fountains ever been broken where they don't run for an extended period of time? I always love seeing the show as the technology behind them fascinates me. I know they have a crew that does maintenance on them everyday, but I imagine there is so much they can't really do.

the crew can work on them even when they are going off, but theyhave drained the lake and cleaned and painted it so it has been down before

I've been there several times when it was closed due to wind.

And once when it should have been closed for wind. We discovered a splash zone across from the valet once. :evillaugh:

Some people think they are always on, that it's a continuous show.

I texted her last night and told her. She said yes, they were working now but the 1pm show didn't go on so she thought they were broken. Alas, Vegas virgins!

EDIT: Just got a text from her, they weren't operating last night. They must be having issues.

I was so disappointed a few weeks ago. Had a cosmo balcony and we waited from 9:30 - 10:30 on our last night to catch a show but nothing. I assumed they were not running because of the wind.

That's possible. It was yesterday. I didn't even know that. I thought they start at noon every day. I guess after you go so many times you don't pay as much attention to them and just catch a show when you happen to be walking by- which is what we do now.
