Unlike a lot of lucky VMBers that will be there to see it live, i'm gonna be stuck at home....

does anyone know if there will be any links where we can stream it live?
i would love to see it....

Usually the TV stations in town will be showing it. I would check their sites.

You might get lucky and come across someone doing one of those live videos that Facebook is pushing now.

I'm sad to see the Riviera go. It was such a part of the old Vegas for me. If walls could talk they would be one hell of a storyteller. I wish they would have just updated it.

Check periscope as well. I'm sure someone will be streaming it on there.

Some implosions are better than others for viewing but I highly recommend seeing it if you are in town that night. I saw the Dunes come down and it was great. I won't be in town so I appreciate this thread, I'll definitely try to find a stream and watch it live.

Stayed at Riviera back in the '70's. Got kicked out of the Italian restaurant because our drunken, loud conversation about mob hits was disturbing to some neighbors who looked like they actually were in the mob. They picked up our tab just to be rid of us.

Took $700 in one Blackjack session.

Tipped the bellman with a coupon, then had the nerve to ask him to send some girls up. I was a very naive 26. The bellman stood there for a long second, then shook his head and left.

I'm going to miss the old girl. Not that we ever stayed or played there much. But the façade just screamed Las Vegas. Now it, like the Stardust sign, are just memories.
