May 24th - June 18th Four Seasons, LA, Mirage, Denver, Vail

So, thats the third time I do the first post of my first tripreport because i didn´t like the other two versions. This one gets postet for sure!

Trip facts:
May 24th - May 31st Las Vegas, Four Seasons (6 out of 7 nights comped upfront)
May 31st - June 2nd LA (Malibu)
June 2nd - June 5th LA (West Hollywood - Airbnb)
June 5th - June 8th Las Vegas, Mirage (1BR Tower Suite, 2 out of 3 nights comped upfront + 200FP + 150RC)
June 8th - June 9th Denver (Downtown, Hotel Teatro)
June 9th - June 12th Beaver Creek (The Osprey)
June 12th - June 18th Vail (Hotel Sonnenalp)

Transportation:
Well, as Vienna, Austria isn´t arround the corner travelling means about 24 hours of Planes and Airports.
11.50am-1.25pm Vienna to London
3.05pm-7.25pm London to Dallas (thanks American Airlines for a confirmed Milage Upgrade into Business Class)
10.10pm-11.09pm Dallas to Las Vegas (which is 8.09am in the morning in Vienna)
Host at Mandalay will send a Limo to pick us up from the Airport
As Four Seasons charges 25USD for parking overnight and all the rumors about parking fees in general we decided to rent a car only on May 25th and from May 30th - June 7th from Avis.
We will have a car in Denver until the end of the Trip.

About us:
"Betman" stands for BETtina and MANfred. We are a married couple in our late 30s.
We only play slots, and we do it different than a lot of people here. We are always playing together at ONE machine. Its more fun for us and the compined bankrolls allow us to play longer and higher denoms.
We will do fine dining once or twice during in Vegas but usually its a lunch buffet and a snack in the evening.

About this Report:
I will try to do a daily report and mix in some photos. If someone is interested i will keep doing it even when we leave vegas.
As this is our 24th Vegas visit there won´t be a lot of tourist stuff! Just gambling, food, pool time and gambling.
At the end of every daily report you will find a youtube video with music from our favorite artists we want to share.
It has become a ritual for us that we play those songs right before we leave for the casino to get pumped up - i hope you enjoy!

Please let me know if my english is worse than i thought - i do my best!

travel day update
of course I woke up early at 5.30am (can't sleep prior traveling) but we scored the first win of the trip by getting upgraded into first on the Dallas to Vegas flight.

I was concerned about our luck because we got a lot of 50 dollar bills when we changed euros to dollars.
Boarding for the London flight starts in 90 minutes, and we are already at the gate. I think we are more than ready.

 

Your English is better than most of us that are American. You did have arround which is around, compined which is combined. In the internet age and the use of smart phones, everyone is allowed typos. (just imagine us trying to do German or Alemannic)

Nice pampering on the Dallas to Vegas flight. Give you a little something to relax after a long trip. Although, Business Class from Europe ain't bad.

I love the Four Season Mandalay Bay, as soon as I get in the hallways it is just so serene.

June is a wonderful month in Vail/Beaver Creek.

The AirBNB is West Hollywood. That has me very intrigued to learn more, which is why we have the internet.

Made it to Dallas. What a difference it makes when you have a 9 hour flight in BC instead of economy. It took us 15 minutes to clear immigration and customs. Now at admirals lounge waiting for boarding.
The lounge here at the C Gates is huge - small disappointment only one free drink per person. and guess what: wife is having a beer while I drink water. she is already in Vegas mode.

 

That's all lounge and there are no more than 20 people in here [emoji57]

You know one of the best feelings in the world: waking up in Vegas on the first day of your vacation.
Arrived in Vegas at 11.15, in the room at 12.05...had a shower and.....went to bed. (sorry @ hedgehog if that's to boring for you)
managed to sleep for 6 hours..and now ready to roll. I just have to convince my wife to get up.

so that wa a great first day. for breakfast we went to Mandalay bay buffet. we liked it. After that we both got out 50 dollar my Vegas free play and managed to win 8 (!) USD at a blazing sevens slot.
after that we got out car from avis to do some shopping. most important thing was to get a coffee maker because we don't trust in room pots. so for several years now we bring our coffee from Vienna.
btw Mandalay got their parking terminals installed yesterday.
after a quick stop at whole food's (we love this place for a quick Snack) we went back to the hotel. wife went to the pool I went to the fitness center, worked out a little and used the steam room. fitness center was remodeled last winter - very nice.
in the late afternoon jetlag kicked in so we decided to take a walk to check out the new area in front of new York new joke. had a snack there.
then it was time for the first real slot session. well and it went great. we managed to run up our first 100 to 1000. never had to touch the bankroll for the day again. now big wins but constantly hitting bonuses. checked the numbers this morning: coin in was 7600. what a great start gaming wise.
at 10pm jetlag won and we went to bed.
